The Gig [Finished]

[yamikuronue]

Vic nods, slowly. "You can't know this. What I'm about to tell you, I mean. You don't know it, and especially not from me. You understand?"

[accalia]

"My lips are sealed." Tony promises.

[yamikuronue]

Vic takes a deep breath. He lets it out.

He takes another.

"I guess I just.."

He lets it out, looking out the window.

"The boss daughter propositioned me." The admission hangs like a weight, as dread begins to build up, palpable, in his gut. He hastens to add, "I told her no, but... she made it clear that wasn't an answer."

[accalia]

"Ah. You gotta lie low for a while, so she gets tired of waiting and finds someone else?" Tony asks 'Or were you trying to figure out a way to take her up on the offer?"

[yamikuronue]

"If I don't go to her after my shift, she'll tell her father I made a pass at her." says Vic quietly. "if I do... I... I won't be able to satisfy her."

[accalia]

"Hmm. What makes you say that you won't? Plenty of people do better their first time than they think they will."

[yamikuronue]

Vic is quiet for a minute. Finally, in a small voice, she says, "I... don't have a penis."

[accalia]

Vic nods "So you finally told me.... I'd guessed that was the issue. Well, if you want to go for it that doesn't mean you can't satisfy her. Might be a shock for her if she doesn't already know."

Vic doesn't seem surprised, or upset at the deception, he's normally a hard one to read but this revelation got absolutely no reaction.

[yamikuronue]

"She doesn't. I'm sure she'll... she's manipulative. If I'm real lucky, I'll end up her personal servant for a while until she gets tired of me."

[accalia]

"Ah. And that at least is something you wish to avoid. Right. I suppose you could talk to the boss and explain before she spills her lies into his ear, if you spin it right you should be able to do that without offending him."

[yamikuronue]

"How? He won't hear of his little girl being..." Vic sighs.

[accalia]

"Just as vindictive and manipulative as he is himself?" Tony finishes ad Vic trails off.

[yamikuronue]

"I was going to go with, a slut. The rest of it he might approve of."

[accalia]

"So phrase it in terms that he would approve of. She's blackmailing you into a date that you don't want to go on because you know he wouldn't approve, and you're short cutting the blackmail by telling him before she does."

[yamikuronue]

"I guess I can try." he says, slowly.
