It's the funniest damn thing... by extending Sigma's power and entirely replacing Lamda's, I now have Siegfried run into a common plot issue Lance usually has, implying that he might be able to acquire Lamda's power as a secondary one....

In his original canon, Lamda is able to go astral easily, as though his soul isn't quite rooted right. I wonder if Siegfried will try to find out more about Echo on one of his astral walks. Turns out echo's astral entity is pretty damn huge and noticeable (an extreme oddity for a mortal)

of course Siegfried may have been a bit distracted to catch that tidbit i tossed his way on his astral walk.

I usually go with two separate concepts: astral travel, in which you traverse the real world without a body, and planeswalking, where you travel to alternate planes, sometimes via astral travel and sometimes bodily. Technically what he was doing was neither -- he was expanding his consciousness, diffusing his mental self over a large area in order to find people's minds. If he's going to develop the ability to astral travel, step two would be to coalesce again in an area that does not contain his body, to form an astral body he can use to travel about. The main difference was that he never quite left his body, so his range was anchored to his physical location.
