computer gremlins get out! out gremlins! out!

yamikuronue

When I got home, they had FIREWALLED anything related to fucking GAMES.

Then my computer refused to connect until I restarted, it wanted no part of these shenanigans.

I was about to declare all-out war on the apartment complex when it came back up

CalamityJade

That was more the internet provider than the Landlord, but hell would have been wrought

yamikuronue

Hmm, let's see how annoying third-person affectations are in practice https://what.thedailywtf.com/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji-one/static/images/1f603.png" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-parsed" data-set-id="emoji-one" data-emoji-id="smiley" alt=":D" title=":D" />

yamikuronue

I figure, Wolf doesn't have a name for himself or a strong enough sense of self-identity to merit personal pronouns, but you can't write English without referring to the subject of a sentence, so... third person it is!

yamikuronue

oh, which reminds me, I'm working my way through A Song of Ice and Fire, and there's a character who eschews pronouns altogether.. "A man does such-and-such", he'll say, meaning himself, or "A girl does something", meaning the girl he's talking to.

accalia

interesting. i need to read those books.

yamikuronue

of course, I kept thinking, "A man chooses. A slave obeys", but that's just me https://what.thedailywtf.com/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji-one/static/images/1f603.png" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-parsed" data-set-id="emoji-one" data-emoji-id="smiley" alt=":D" title=":D" />

BTW, if Obsidian is still interested Echo is available for grilling in the kitchen.

also i think the fight is about time to wrap it up? no?

yamikuronue

yeah, probably. I figure Wolf will find his way home eventually if he's not forced to change, or if Julie can say something that makes him want to go home, he'll happily go home rather than fight with her some more. Being mad is tiring https://what.thedailywtf.com/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji-one/static/images/1f600.png" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-parsed" data-set-id="emoji-one" data-emoji-id="grinning" alt=":)" title=":)" />

accalia

If he changes back Julie will also probably offer him a ride home, she has been trying to snap him out of the wolf form, hence galling him by name.

yamikuronue

yeah, the main issue is he's seething mad at her, which makes it hard to calm down and shift back. Wolf and Lance have a rather dysfunctional relationship

yamikuronue

ugh, my knitting is getting narrower and narrower as I keep stitching rows...
