How familiar should we be with the Aldis stories? I fell behind and stopped reading them, so know next to nothing about the setting

The setting seems to be that we don't remember anything about who we are. Which means an implied lack of any familiarity is completely fine because 'figure it out as you go'.

What Arantor said. The world docs located in the index may be useful if you get confused, but since your char won't have memories it should be fine

 Kae pointed out to me last night that some knowledge skill stuff is "common knowledge" and can be rolled untrained. I do plan to be pretty sparse with untrained results though.
