~Better he realizes he had to kill the lich, then think he just has to talk her down or something. Once he'd seen her, in the scry, he wasn't leaving.~

[Carver Amell]

"Once he saw her body, he wasn't going to leave, says Varric." 

[Isabela]

"What am I supposed to do, then? I'm not a hero. I don't know how to save people. All I know is he's going to pieces and I have to stop it." 

[Tethras Clan]

~Just... talk to him. Remind him you're still alive and need him as well. And yeah, he needs to sack out for a bit. If he doesn't sleep, I know Wynne has some stuff at her place. And... as much as I hate to say, if you can get him to... with you, good. It centers him.~

[Carver Amell]

Get him to what with her? Carver seems honestly confused, but the wheels turn a moment longer, and his eyes widen. No. What?! Isabela and him?! 

[Tethras Clan]

~Oh for the love of- yes, them. Often and for years before you knew either,~ Varric snaps. Sticking his head out for just a moment, he says rapidly, "comfort him, remind him you need him to live, Wynne's place has sleep tea and fuck him if you can," before jumping back in.

[Carver Amell]

--not good enough for her, she deserves a real man, Carver is muttering to himself, trying to rationalize his hurt feelings some way that makes sense. Pushy pansy bastard.

[Isabela]

Remind him I need him. Right. That's going to work. Isabela sighs. "I'll remind him Hawke would want him to live," she decides aloud. 

[Tethras Clan]

~...seriously?~ If we all die because of of this bullshit... ~Tell her that's fine too, but he needs someone alive to live for.~

[Carver Amell]

"He says he'd do better with someone alive to live for." I could be so much better for you, if you just let me express my feelings, if you just let me try. I wouldn't hurt you like this, I would take care of you, protect you...

[Isabela]

Isabela recoils a little, then looks away. "Sure. Find one and let me know, yeah?" 

[Tethras Clan]

I need ale. Gods, so much ale. Ale with whiskey in it. ~Tell her 'done.'~ he says wearily.

[Carver Amell]

"He says Done."

[Isabela]

Isabela scowls, looking away. "If you say so. After all, you are the expert."

~Glad she agrees. Now we'd best catch up, Zevran's already glancing back at us,~ Varric points out.
