"He says to call him Varric, and you're welcome," Carver relays. 

[Helene Dakesh]

"This one will recall."

[Carver Amell]

"How come you're always speaking of yourself in the third person like that? Is that part of being Agender?" 

[Helene Dakesh]

"This one is merely trying to be respectful and speak correctly."

[Tethras Clan]

~They're probably nervous. At least you know us, even if we're not exactly friends. Helene is in the middle of an undead uprising with strangers,~ Varric observes. He takes a second to think, then, ~Ask them if they can go over the basics of combating undead, maybe touch on the more common subtypes. Good refresher for you, and it'l give them something productive they can focus on.~

[Carver Amell]

"So, you fight undead often?"

[Helene Dakesh]

"No. This one is dedicated to Alydra. This one studies creatures such as this, but does not fight them."

[Carver Amell]

"Oh really? What can you tell me about them, then?"

[Helene Dakesh]

"Undead creatures are the remains of creatures that were once living, animated not by their own life force but by necromantic energy. They can see in the dark, and are not susceptible to poisons or sleep. It's generally best to attack them with weapons."

[Tethras Clan]

~Fire's good too, for most of them.~ It takes very special poison to affect the undead. Acid or combustibles are easier and better.

[Carver Amell]

"I hear fire works as well."

[Helene Dakesh]

"This one was unaware that you had the ability to create fire," Helene says simply.

[Tethras Clan]

~Alright, got us there,~ Varric admits. ~Might be able to get you some alchemists fire. I doubt you have any training with using wands and the like?~

[Carver Amell]

"Still, may be worth going shopping before we go back out." Carver turns to bring the tea kettle to the table to brew.

[Helene Dakesh]

Helene nods, looking down as they flip through their sketchbook. They pause on a page, tracing the contours of a bird above a cliff, silent.
