"This one... has similarities to a tulwath. But this one is mortal. Samsaran. This is why this one is... not... this one is defective, for a mortal. No mortal is meant to be like this."

[Varric]

"Is there a chance that... I mean, we're not really sure how samsaran are born, exactly. No-one has ever actually seen one... formed, not a reincarnated one. So maybe..." Varric shakes his head. "Sorry, tangent. Interesting, want to discuss with you later, but still a tangent. Besides, I still think there's a good chance that your having pervasive developmental disorder is part of why you have such a high frequency of visions compared to most other oracles."

"Possible," they admit. "One of the reasons this one has not attempted a permanent cure."

[Tethras Clan]

Wonder why they've never asked. Then again, maybe knowing for sure either way would be worse. "How're you feeling?"

"Tired. Functional."

[Tethras Clan]

"You wanna eat in here?" he offers quietly.

Helene fidgets. "This one should make an effort to be hospitable."

[Tethras Clan]

"Psssh. Hawke's a host here too, she can be hospitable. If you want to eat in here, then you can eat in here," the dwarf says with a way of his hand.

[Helene Dakesh]

"This one's fear is irrational."

[Tethras Clan]

"Fear is like that," Varric points out. 

[Helene Dakesh]

"Mia is no longer a sceleratis. This one should not be frightened."

[Tethras Clan]

"Well... maybe you're not. Afraid of her, exactly. More... what she represents. She might be the reincarnation of Tantra and no longer the being that... did what she did, but..." Varric shrugs a little. "She's a damned potent reminder. My hand itches from time to time when I see her. I can't blame you for having some flashbacks, some post-tramatic event residuals."
