[Carver Amell]

"Good. Then we're free to go home to Mother until you let our friend go. Right?"

[Bethany]

"I'm not going back to her," Bethany snaps. 

[Andy za'Frane]

"Look... you can't stay by yourself. You're not quite sixteen yet." Making a note of that... that's the second or third time they've said something to imply their mother is... less than suitable. "You're not under arrest, but if you run away, that would be breaking a law. Well, a city ordinance, but still. Not a great start to your life in Nyra."

[Carver Amell]

Carver elbows Bethany. "Right. Which is why we're totally going home, right now. Bye." 

[Andy za'Frane]

Bethany turns her head, about to say something to her brother, but Andy speaks first. "And where is home right now?"

[Carver Amell]

"M-mother's house, of course. Gamlen's house." 

[Andy za'Frane]

The guard recruit gives Carver a disbelieving look, then gestures at Bethany. "Really?"

[Bethany]

Bethany looks off to the side, not saying anything very loudly.

Carver crosses his arms, scowling, as if daring him to challenge him on it.

[Andy za'Frane]

"Then you won't mind if I walk you back there... just to make sure your sister is safe. That's your primary concern, right?

[Carver Amell]

"Alright." We can get away later. Sorry, Bethany.

[Bethany]

"No."

[Andy za'Frane]

"Figured as much," Andy says dryly.

[Carver Amell]

"Beth!" He tugs her closer, to whisper in her ear: "Can't you just play along?"

[Bethany]
