[Carver Amell]

Carver shakes his head. "We definitely don't. Not until it's successful and we can explain how it all works and it's safe and all that."

[Bethany]

"..." Bethany sighs. "You're probably right. It's only like... eight months until we turn seventeen. Maybe we can keep it secret until then?" She doesn't sound all that optimistic but...

[Carver Amell]

Carver nods. "As long as you're safe. I can always get arrested to distract him if you need me to."

[Bethany]

Letting out a groan, Bethany thumps her head against his chest. "...let's keep that in our pocket for now. Like... forever for now."

[Carver Amell]

He wraps his warm, strong arms around her, cradling her. "Alright," he says quietly. 

[Bethany]

"Hard to hug through bars," Bethany mutters. "Need your hugs."

[Carver Amell]

Carver squeezes her just a bit tighter. "I need you too, Beth."

[Bethany]

After enjoying the hug for a few minutes, Bethany finally sighs. "We need to head to the clinic or we'll be late," she says with clear reluctance. Strange, how much... more fulfilling hugging my twin is compared to a night of sex with Bri. Not... as pleasurable but... something.

[Carver Amell]

"Alright." Carver plants a kiss on her cheek, impulsively, before he gets up.

[Bethany]

"Bri says he's nice," Bethany offers as she leads him towards Coalside. "Kind of... intense but nice. Evidently he's into communism? Something about how rich people are selfish and jerks, Bri wasn't all that clear on it."

[Carver Amell]

"I don't know any rich people," says Carver with a shrug.

[Bethany]

"I think Dad might count. I mean, he did buy the gold mine and stuff," she replies thoughtfully.

[Carver Amell]

"Don't rich people have like, castles?"

[Bethany]

"...are we sure he doesn't? But I mean, he owns a mine... and a few businesses and a house in the city and all of his gear... I'm not an expert or anything, but I know a little about enchants and his Bianca alone would be like... more money than half of Golden Shores made in their entire lives," Bethany says soberly.
