[Carver Amell]

Carver shudders, turns to Miki. "Did you check... you know?"

[GamesMaster]

Miki nods, face grim. "Yah, yah, but...." He glances at Beth, then says in Catfolk, "Bandannas think Enemy might know Bandannas know their litterbox. Less dumps there lately."

[Bethany]

Beth shivers a little, expression faintly ill. "Does Niko have family? Anyone else he might have gone to?"

[GamesMaster]

"Checked there. His mum hasn't seen him. Checked the sickroom too." The word isn't quite equivalent to 'temple' or 'hospital', Ari had told her, but she'd declined to elaborate on the exact differences. 

[Bethany]

"I think we have to ask Dad then," Beth says after a moment. "He can ask around quietly."

[GamesMaster]

"Eh... won't he be mad?" asks Miki, quietly, shifting his weight a bit.

[Carver Amell]

Carver frowns. "Wait, a few minutes ago -- did you say Skysong?"

[Bethany]

"I'd rather he be mad than for Ni- wait, what? He did- you did! How did you even get in there?" Beth demands.

[GamesMaster]

Miki grins. "Niko crafty cat-cat. Had plan. Miki helped."

[Bethany]

"Clearly it was a bad plan given he's gone missing and is probably in- what was that?" Beth asks, sounding perhaps a trifle paranoid. On the other hand...

[Varric]

The front door opens loudly but before they can panic too much, Varric calls out, "Beth! Need a hand! Carver, you too!"

[Carver Amell]

Carver darts Beth a meaningful glance before heading to the front. "She's got her hands full, what's up?" he calls as he heads that way.

[GamesMaster]

Miki jumps, moving for the back door.

[Varric]

"Need a healer," Varric calls back, a loud grunt of effort following. 

[Bethany]

Bethany's eyes widen with concern and she slams past Carver, uncaring at her partial body check. "Dad! What's wrong, what's-" she skids to a stop in the doorway to the living room, goggling at the sight of Varric dragging a... "Is that a dog? A... pregnant dog?"
