"You are your own person. You might be with Cindy. You might love her and she you, but you only belong to yourself," Zevran says firmly.

She flinches, but doesn't argue. "What you said about... about adding to tattoos..."

[Tethras Clan]

Zevran nods encouragingly, shifting to make the waves on his left arm easier to see. "I've just finalized the design I wish for my right arm in fact. Mine are magical, so it it a touch more difficult than most."

[Marian Hawke]

She leans forward, then flinches back. "I see. Do you think...?"

[Tethras Clan]

"It should work fine, yes. As far as I recall, your tattoos are perfectly mundane. Did you have any ideas? I can recommend a good artist."

[Marian Hawke]

"But they're so extensive..." She frowns.

[Tethras Clan]

"Which would entail more tattoos now, to modify them, yes. Or... given that they are non-magical, they could be removed entirely, come to think of it," Zevran replies. "Scars as well, though they are strangely harder, doing both at once should not be that much more than just the one."

[Marian Hawke]

"Yet still expensive altogether." She takes a deep breath, sighing. "I should get going."

[Tethras Clan]

"There's no hurry," Zevran says gently. "I don't mind talking with you. Quite the opposite in fact."

[Marian Hawke]

"I can't stay." I'm getting antsy. "I don't stay places long."

[Tethras Clan]

"Would you like to take a walk then?" Zevran offers. "Perhaps get something to eat?"

[Marian Hawke]

"No," she says, swallowing hard. He'll keep pulling me back into being Liz, and I'd rather be someone else right now, get lost in someone who's not afraid of the sky. 

[Tethras Clan]

Zevran studies... her.. for a few seconds, then nods slowly. "Do you have money? A place to stay and food?"

[Marian Hawke]

"Yes. My father gave me some money for emergencies."

[Tethras Clan]

"Okay. That's good. Stay safe. And if you need to talk or a place to just... be, then you can come here. If anyone gives you trouble, then just tell them you have an Astoundingly Sexy invitation." He smiles at her kindly. "I am glad you came tonight. It was good to see you again."
