"Much improved," says Cindy, with a warm smile. "And yourself?"

[Varric]

"Good. Still a little behind on my sleep but Helene waking this morning was... Well. Just Merrill to go so that's pretty damn good," Varric says with clear relief. "Clothes and such fine? I didn't look it over, but given Beth got six backs of it, I just hoped she covered everything." Another bag of stuff for Cindy, to broaden her options- then three bags of trousers, shirts and vests, most of them suited for Liz's build.

Cindy laughs. "Yes, there's quite enough clothing. Liz appreciated the trousers particularly." 

[Varric]

Varric nods, then glances at the other person in the room. "See you wearing a pair now. Glad they're working out for you," he says softly.

[Marian Hawke]

"Yes," she says, with a small smile, looking at her hands folded in her lap. "They are soft."

[Varric]

"How are you? Looking forward to seeing your sibs?"

[Marian Hawke]

"Yes," she says quietly, hunching her shoulders just a bit.

Cindy gives her lover's hand a squeeze. "She's been thinking about it all day. Considering her approach."

[Tethras Clan]

"I talked to them a bit as well. Tried to... give them a head's up, about your... sore spots, I guess. Carver might be a bit quiet- he's got a foot-in-mouth problem, so he might go quiet a little. Or randomly start talking about his training or the mabari," Varric says with a grin.

[Marian Hawke]

Hawke nods, swallowing hard. "I'll be alright," she says, taking a deep breath.

[Tethras Clan]

"Is there anything you want to know... or say before we head out to the living room?" Varric asks gently.

[Marian Hawke]

She shakes her head, then looks up at Cindy.

[Coquette Blacquin]

"It will be fine," she says gently in return. "I'll be there. I give you permission to retreat here if you feel overwhelmed."

[Varric]

Varric turns his head, just a little towards her, at Cindy's comment. Specifically, near the middle of it.

Hawke nods, looking a bit relieved. "Of course. Thank you."
