"If you are not... comfortable with going into the field, you could..." His eyes flick to Helene. "Join Helene on the support staff. They are a non-combatant as much as we can arrange. Having a local expert on Glaley would be very helpful. And, admittedly, a final defence should someone get onto the ship."

[Coquette Blacquin]

"I... I can't. I'm not... I'm not trustworthy," she says softly. "Not anymore."

Vig leaps up onto the table so he can peer into her eyes. "You know what it would take to pass as one of them. Could you arrange disguises?"

"I..."

There's a war in her eyes, as she hesitates, meeting Zevran's, searching his eyes for... something. Whatever she's looking for, she finds it. "I'll do you one better," she says quietly. "I'll be your entrance." A change comes over her; she draws herself up, cloaking herself in dignity until the simple country girl is gone. "After all," she says, her accent heavier. "I am recently widowed."
