Carver Amell

"...Yeah, I'm leaving that blank," says Carver.

Marian Hawke

Five, Liz doesn't say, blushing.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Jassinth

"Well... Maeve says she's a plant, which don't have gender so... that counts, I think," Jass finally decides. "Several of the other forest elementals and such are clearly other and few have gender as we would name them so... I think three on this one. Less to do with gender and much more with how they look." Catfolk yes, cats no. Dryads and satyrs yes, treants and griffons no.

Bethany

Oh, right, non-mortals. Most of the pavitra I've seen... "Two for me." Beth jots that down. "Most pavitra are 'other than male/female' right?"

Carver Amell

"Wait you've met pavitra?" wonders Carver

Marian Hawke

"I,uh, I'm a five," mumbles Liz.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Helene Dakesh

Helene nods. "Question four: How would you describe your sexual orientation? Questions five and six are related: how would you describe your gender, and to what sex does your physical shell belong?"
"Explain. In detail, please and thank you."

Carver Amell

Carver freezes, his pen held above the parchment for a moment.

Marian Hawke

Oddly enough, Liz also pauses to catch her breath, though she covers better.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Bethany

Oct 19, 2018, 04:50 pm #1704 Last Edit: Oct 19, 2018, 04:53 pm by Kae
"At the temple, sure." Bethany looks up and grins. "So have you. Remember Bright Elloi, the very, very pale blonde with the star tattoos? He was a celestial that one of the upper ranks invited to help teach some offensive sacred spells." Like that glowing spear of light she can cast, most likely. "He was kind of formal, but he was pretty and had a good, dry sense of humor. Not sure if he was male or just tolerating mortal impercision but..." She trails off then, not so much because she's out of words on the subject but because Helene's questions had fully registered. "Okay! Remember, we don't have to answer out loud. We're family but that doesn't mean we can't have some privacy."

Helene Dakesh

Helene nods. "And as always these are anonymous surveys, so even I will not know which of your answers is whose."
"Explain. In detail, please and thank you."

Tethras Clan

Merrill slowly closes her mouth, her 'I like pretty and kind people, dunno what that's called?' unspoken.
<e> Honesty. Openness. Trust. <dw>Stabbed in the gut! With a sword!

Bethany

"You might want to use a copying ritual to process all of your results." Beth's voice is quiet and she's paying a great deal of attention to Carver while trying not to. "Handwriting."

Carver Amell

Carver can't bring himself to ask the clarifying question. He knows it will help Helene, to make the questions more precise, but at the same time, it's as good as saying what happened, admitting it out loud. And yet... and yet... his eyes dart to his older sister, the one who went through hell and came back to him. Do I have a right to hide this? he wonders. I know it's right to talk about it, not to hide secrets, but I... they know anyway, why can't I say it? Why can't I...

Helene Dakesh

Helene nods. "Of course."
"Explain. In detail, please and thank you."
