Marian Hawke

"You're welcome for cooking," mutters Marian, taking her spot. I barely came once. Damn this close proximity.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Varric

Varric rather pointedly looks at Helene finishing their breakfast. "Yes, thank you for putting things in the pot, then leaving them out here exposed and unattended," he says cooly. "

Zevran

"Ah, my apologies- I... may have distracted Marian a bit this morning," Zevran says, bowing gracefully.
Life without Passion is just another form of Slavery.

Varric

The dwarf snorts, then rolls his eyes. "Yeah, yeah- sorry, a bit tense about... all this."

The party has noticed. Repeatedly.

"Anyway, we should reach the trading village just bef- just after first afternoon bell. So I wanted to go over our approach, our plans and so forth one last time," he continues.

Marian Hawke

Marian nods, dishing herself a bowl of porridge. "Alright. Lay it on us." Again.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Varric

"Okay, so I'm not entirely sure what the problem is going to be, so we have to go in with a general approach. Which means I can't make a big to-do about coming in, but I can't go too hard into sneaking in either. As such, Mister Marrick Teegan, a surface dwarf merchant of middling means but well respected reputation will be making an ancestral pilgrimage along with his two apprentices," he gestures at Marian and Zevran, "his bodyguard," Lightsong, "his apprentice's fiance," Isabela, "and a Seeker who is paying him to travel while out doing some field research," and Helene. "Questions so far?"

Isabela

"So far it's the same as yesterday," quips Bela.
"Our mistakes make us who we are"

Marian Hawke

"Which is she marrying?" asks Marian, a little sullen.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Isabela

"Zev, dear," says Isabela. "Do keep up."
"Our mistakes make us who we are"

Varric

Varric pauses a moment, then sighs. "We can drop the brother and sister angle for the two of you?" he offers in the hopes of making Marian less... annoying.

Marian Hawke

"That'd be good, yes," she says, nodding.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Zevran

Zevran flashes Marian an amused smile. "I suppose I shall manage the loss of my dear sister Mary. Does this mean, however, that I am gaining a mistress?"
Life without Passion is just another form of Slavery.

Isabela

"I could pretend to be jealous," remarks Bela. "I never get to be jealous. It sounds like fun."
"Our mistakes make us who we are"

Marian Hawke

"Maybe we leave that part ambiguous," grumbles Marian.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Varric

"No, no, things like that have to be decided on before you start a con like this. If you have to make a decision one way or the other, it might conflict with someone the other does or has done if you're not on the same page," Varric insists with a slight frown. "How about... Ciren's often have group... stuff, right?"
