The Amell Legacy: Transgressions

[GamesMaster]

She shakes her head. "Fur. Needta get warm first."

[Lux]

"Wouldn't warm water help with that?" Lux asks with bemusement.

[GamesMaster]

"No. Wet means cold."

[Lux]

"Even warm water?" Lux hums softly. "Interesting. Sorry, I don't feel cold much, nor heat," he explains.

[GamesMaster]

"It's warm while I'm bathing but it cools off too fast."

[Lux]

"I can warm it up again," Lux offers. 

[Nox]

The singing stops, then Nox calls out, "she up? Good. This'll be done in less than ten!"

[GamesMaster]

Brianne mews. "Music," she whimpers. 

[Lux]

"Mus--" Lux narrows his eyes. "Bri, how much pain are you in?"

[GamesMaster]

"Hurts," she admits, looking down at her shaking body. 

[Lux]

"Nox, did you bring your healing kit?"

"Just the regular one but yes!"

"Rest a moment, I'll be back, alright?" Lux smiles gently, squeezes Brianne's hand briefly, then pads away. In the kitchen, the singing resumes, though the song is different: an elven ballad now.

[GamesMaster]

Not the music. Just singing. Just... Brianne shakes her head, taking a deep breath, trying to get her thoughts in order. But it was so beautiful a moment ago. No. Just the after-effects of the drugs. 

[Lux]

Lux returns shortly with a small vial. "Willow bark, mint and ginseng," he says as he gives it to her. "Should help take the edge off the aches without upsetting your stomach."

[GamesMaster]

She drinks the vial greedily, her head sorting itself a little as the herbs kick in. "Thanks," she grunts. 

[Lux]

"No trouble," Lux says with a faint smile. "How about a compromise? Wash your face and brush your teeth, then breakfast, then bath."
