The Amell Legacy: Transgressions

[Varric]

Varric stares. Just... stares. 

[Shisou]

Soushi-hime turns, then, frowning. "Citizens?"

[Marian Hawke]

"We're fine," says Marian, picking her jaw up off the floor. 

[Varric]

"Bet or curse?"

[Shisou]

Soushi-hime blinks. "If it is a curse, it's upon those unfortunate toughs who attacked you, for I am the Midnight Princess, Soushi-hime, come to your rescue!"

"That's not what you said last night," says Carbonne, leaping onto Soushi-hime's head. 

The young adult ducks, swatting at the lizard. "H-hey! I'm doing a thing here," she says, out of the side of her mouth. "Stop that!"

[Varric]

Oh. She's not much older than Marian. That... makes more sense than it should really. "Right then. Yeah, we're fine," he adds, taking out a vial and downing it to heal the scattering of scratches and bruises he'd picked up in the fight. "You?"

[Shisou]

"Of course! There's no need to fear on my behalf, citizen. Only, be more careful in the future. There are bad sorts out there, you see."

[Marian Hawke]

"There are bad sorts everywhere," mutters Marian. "Even in the Lantern."

[Shisou]

Soushi-hime pauses, frowning. "The Lantern, you say? Any one you're thinking of in particular?"

[Varric]

"They're politicians. Only group more evil are bankers," Varric says brightly, "So... Soushi-Hime, was it? Tengu is a pretty uncommon language." Very interesting, between that and the... mutated, wingless dragon wannabe sidekick. Familiar?

[Shisou]

"I was born in Toukami," she admits. "I speak Tengu as well as I do Common." 

She bows, then, in the Toukami fashion, hands pressed together. "Hajimemashite." 

[Varric]

And that bait caught more than expected there. Huh. "Hajimemashite," he replies, his accent hinting more kender than tengu. "This just... what you do then? Patrol Coalside and help out people getting attacked by bizarrely dedicated thugs?"

[Shisou]

"Primarily I come to the defense of young maidens who are being assaulted," she admits. "You're lovely and all, but it was the girl that caught my eye."

[Marian Hawke]

"H-hey! I think I'm offended by that."

[Varric]

"Creeper," Varric says blandly. "Let me guess, you ask for your reward after?"
