[Shisou]

"Um. That's basically right, yeah. I can cast some spells, but not many, and..." 

Her face twists, but she manages to keep going: "a-and, without C-Carbonne, I c-can't get more..."

[Haliel Lightsong]

"Her companion, Carbonne, was taken by Villian Jadan to force her-"

[Varric]

"Sorry, no, I just- did you title him as Villain?"

[Haliel Lightsong]

"...yes?" The aasmar winces a little.

[Varric]

"...yeah, alright."

[Shisou]

Shiori smiles, tiredly, but announces: "The villain Jadan, unbeknownst to our heroes, has kidnapped poor Carbonne! Whatever will our intrepid adventurers do next?"

[Marian Hawke]

Marian stares at Shiori. "...what."

[Bethany]

Clearing her throat, Beth offers, "hearts heavy but spirits unbowed, these valiant warriors of good must flee the city to regroup. But they shall return, stronger than ever, in order to free Carbonne and vanquish the foul Jadan the Craven Cur."

[Marian Hawke]

"...no, seriously, what?"

[Shisou]

Shiori's eyes light up, and she grins at Beth. "You sound just like a bard!" she gushes. "Can I pay you to follow me around and narrate my fights?"

[Varric]

"I don't even," Varric mutters to Marian. "Those of you that are sane, please go get Carol ready?" Looking a bit confused, Lightsong takes Marian's arm and heads for the bathroom.

[Bethany]

A bit of life slips back into Beth's eyes and she smiles. "I would love to write a sage about your heroics, Soushi-hime. We can talk about payment later?" She winks at the hero.

[Shisou]

She blushes faintly, nodding. She's probably not into girls -- she probably is just playfully winking. 

[Bethany]

Beth is not just playfully winking.

[Varric]

Nor is Varric just playfully gagging.
