The Amell Legacy: Transgressions

[Bethany]

Bethany has crumpled against Lightsong, tears streaming down her face as she body shudders and shakes. Before Lightsong can clear her hands to try ad help, Bethany loses her fight and vomits down the paladin's side.

[Carver Amell]

Carol stares at her twin, shaking, tears streaming down her face. "Jadan loved me," she whispers, swallowing hard. "He made me happy. And all she ever wanted was to take that away, to tell me not to be happy. She's not my sister. I don't know what she is, but that's not what a sister does."

[Marian Hawke]

"Maybe he did," snaps Marian. "And maybe she didn't like him, and maybe she didn't want you to be together. But that doesn't mean he gets to rape her. And you sure as hell aren't allowed to blame her for what he did."

[Haliel Lightsong]

"Miss Bethany did not consent to sex of any kind if Villian Jadan," Lightsong says after tossing the mug on the ground so she can wrap an arm around Beth. She's cringing a bit at the vomit on her leg but otherwise ignoring it for now. "I healed her, afterwards. The wounds were... very clear as to what happened."

[Carver Amell]

"He likes--"

She breaks off, looking slightly ill, glancing away. "There are... things. Sex things. That he likes. I--"

[Haliel Lightsong]

"Does it appear as if Miss Bethany enjoyed them?" Lightsong points out gently. "A week later, and she still... look at her, Miss Carol. He tried to rape her."

[Carver Amell]

"He wouldn't--" 

She shivers, shaking her head. "H-he... he wouldn't do that, he... Jadan is... I love him," she whispers, shaking her head once more.

[Haliel Lightsong]

"Why are you so willing to believe that your twin would betray you but not Villian Jadan?" Frowning, Lightsong shakes her head. "No, more than that- you allow that he could have been unfaithful but blame only Miss Bethany."

[Carver Amell]

"Beth is the one who was always causing trouble, who wanted... who didn't want me to be happy," she whispers, vehemently. "Jadan never said a word against Beth, not once."

[Bethany]

Bethany lifts her head, giving her twin a look of betrayed disgust. "You stupid, ungrateful bitch. I devoted my life to trying to help you for years and you- turn on me for some rapist! I don't even want to be your twin." Sobbing, she wrenches herself away from Lightsong and starts out of the clearing at a run.

[Marian Hawke]

The sound of a slap rings out as Marian loses her temper; the blow leaves a smattering of ice on Carol's cheek as the younger girl staggers a step. 

"Get. Your shit. Together," snarls Marian. "You are not the only person hurting here! Were you even fucking listening last night?!"

[Carver Amell]

Carol stares at Marian, and for a moment, it seems she will give in, sink back into silence.

Then something flares up in her and she makes a fist, punching Marian in the jaw. "Fuck you!" she spits. "All I wanted was to be happy with my family, then you come back and everything goes to hell! You can rot for all I care! You took Jadan away from me!"

[Haliel Lightsong]

About to bolt after Beth, Lightsong checks herself. "Soushi-hime, go after Beth!" she calls out before throwing herself between the two fighting siblings. "Enough!"

[Shisou]

Shisou nods, calling "On it!" as he plunges after Beth

[Carver Amell]

"Fuck you too!" shouts Carol. "All of you! Just let me go home!"
