Go Down

Bethany

Beth hears Vigile, recognizes the voice, understands his point but really, really wants to taste Soushi-hime. So she simply uses one hand to push at him gently and the other, still on her face, to guide her lips in.

Vigile

Ears flattening, Vigile slips off Beth's lap and sighs. Mortals. Very well, I suppose they do not mind their elders watching.
I, His-paws-are-silent-but-his-growl-is-fierce-in-defense-of-the-righteous, sworn to the service of the Vigilant Protector, HE-THAT-IS-VANGAL.  Or Táchosadhachtáfháslógíocharigcosainadílis for short.

Shisou

Shiori's lips press against Beth's, and it's bliss, sheer bliss -- she tangles a hand in Beth's hair, soft and yielding against her, a little moan forming in the back of her throat. I'm home.

Helene Dakesh

Helene and Varric return with supplies for their trip, all packed into a cart pulled by the grouchiest donkey in existence; Varric is forced to follow behind the cart, as by the time they get back his presence actively pisses the donkey off and the two attempt to fight to the death if they make eye contact.

Thankfully, Helene is willing to cast a Zone of Truth, and so they arrange themselves into a loose semi-circle around the oracle, with Beth standing apart so that the zone can be cast. Shiori refuses to let Beth stand alone, so she grips Beth's hand in comfort, willing to accept the risks if it means she can comfort her new friend.

"The zone is cast successfully. You may speak."
"Explain. In detail, please and thank you."

Bethany

"...should I just... talk or do people want to ask questions or..?" She shifts awkwardly. She had agreed to this, but is very unhappy about it. It hurts, that her twin needs magic to trust her. Especially about something like this... Having Shiori at her side, holding her hand like this... it helps. A lot.

Carver Amell

"Say again what you said."

Carol's voice is far less accusatory, less angry -- it's a small voice, her eyes staring straight ahead; a tired voice, drained.

Marian Hawke

"Just, can you tell us what happened, at a high level? We don't need details or, or anything," says Marian. She also sounds tired, but less lifeless, more 'done with this shit'.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Bethany

Bethany swallows, shuddering. "I...  have never consent to letting J-J-Jadan to-" The word touch sticks in her throat and she flinches as she realize the spell is going to demand that she be clear and specific. "To have sex. With me. He- he hit me. He..."

Varric

"Use his name," Varric says firmly as she pauses to find words. "Otherwise it could be pronouns tricks."

Marian Hawke

Marian turns to glare at Carol, as if to ask, 'isn't this enough?'
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Carver Amell

Carol shivers, staring straight ahead, unable to even look at Beth. Unable to respond. Jadan... There has to be a misunderstanding. He can't have... He can't have realized...

Bethany

Bethany nods, the movement jerky, just wanting this over. "S-sorry. I- Jadan... pushed me against a wall. My head hit the wall, twice. I... I got really dizzy. I couldn't think clearly and my vision was blurry. Then he pushed me on the sofa and... he touched my breasts. I tried- I tried to get him off. I told him- I told Jadan to stop. Then he....put his- Jadan put his fingers in... inside me." Her eyes squeeze shut and she turns to press her face against Shiori's shoulder.

Haliel Lightsong

Lighstong moves to be next to Carol, ready to catch her or hug her or... No-one else is in a position to willing to care for her right now and she needs to not be alone.
I am the Light of My Soul.

Shisou

Shiori embraces her, trying to impart some measure of comfort into the girl. She wants to say it'll be okay, but she can't; the words stick in her throat.

Carver Amell

Carol shakes her head. "He doesn't-- what did you do to make him act that way?"
