Bethany

"Never be- oh, right, you only like girls," Beth recalls. "Still. It's just... sex is really, really good. And even though..." She has to pause, just for a few seconds, "I... I couldn't... do much right n-now, I think, I... I know it can be good. So good. So... so I will again." She forces a smile fo Shiori. "And kissing is great. He... he didn't... Kissing is great."

Shisou

"I enjoy kissing," says Shiori with a sappy grin.

Marian Hawke

"It sounds like it would be," admits Marian.

"Would you like to try a kiss?" Beth offers sincerely.  She grins a bit. "I've been told by all who would know I'm rather good at it."

Marian Hawke

"Uh," says Marian, blinking. "Is that allowed?"
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Bethany shrugs as best she can while hugging the two girls. "Not like one of us is gonna get pregnant or something. Car and I kissed some when we were younger. We didn't want to be terrible at it when it counted." She smiles wistfully at the memory. That was the year she really started to get depressed, probably from the hormonal changes of puberty. I got tits and hips, she got crippling despair. Fuck life.

Marian Hawke

I doubt it's ever going to count. "Maybe when we make camp tonight. We should really get on the move."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Bethany

"Oh. Right." Bethany winces a little. "I.... kind of held things up a bit, didn't I?" In a flash of nerves and excitement, she leans in and kisses Marian. On the check. Then Shiori on the mouth before stepping back and hurrying towards the camp.

"Last one ready is a miscast fireball!"

Helene Dakesh

They set off, getting a late start but not having far to go. As they walk, they naturally begin to form clumps of likeminded people -- or at least, people willing to talk to each other.

Helene has a quiet word with Varric an hour into their walk, and together, they flank Helene's apprentice, forcing her to slow until they have some privacy. Helene, anxious, takes point as Varric had suggested; he's there to provide support, to help smooth things over if they go badly.

"This one noticed dishonesty during last night's session," begins Helene.
"Explain. In detail, please and thank you."

Marian Hawke

"Did you?" asks Marian, her voice a bit flat. "Clumsy of me."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Helene Dakesh

"That is... what this one means is... Let this one begin again. This one is concerned."
"Explain. In detail, please and thank you."

Marian Hawke

"Are you? Makes a change," she quips, before finching. "Sorry. A little raw today. What's up?"
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Varric

"Ahem." Varric says the word, flatly, instead of making a noise. "Please remember that both of you kind of... well, you both lack practice in the realms of friendship and deep, emotional bonds. So maybe try to assume the other means what they say in good ways, instead of bad ways."

Helene Dakesh

"This one is often concerned," says Helene, looking away. "Apprentice Hawke does not seem to desire this one's concern. Or this one's friendship."
"Explain. In detail, please and thank you."

Marian Hawke

"You're the one who-- fine," she says, taking a deep breath to leash her tongue. "What do you want, Helene?"
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.
