The Amell Legacy: Transgressions

[NPCs]

Roland grins a little at the pup. "Good lines. Purebred mabari, right?"

[Carver Amell]

Carol gives a tiny nod, still staring at her stew. 

[Shisou]

"I think so? He belongs to Carol."

[NPCs]

Roland saunters over to the two girls and squats down. He grins at Carol, offers a wink and a nod at Merrill. "And how you two doing this fine afternoon?"

[Merrill]

Merrill offers a weak smile, wishing she had something to do with her hands.

[Carver Amell]

"Um. F-fine," she whispers.

[Merrill]

"It's sun-n-nny,"" Merrill mumbles. Hunter rushes over to see what's happening, scrambling into Carol's lap by way of Merrill's legs.

[Carver Amell]

Carol, as always, scoops up the active little pup, cradling him close to help sooth the jagged places inside her.

[Shisou]

"Um. That's... Good," says Shisou. "This is Roland, he will be traveling with us for a bit."

[Carver Amell]

Carol looks up, startled.

[NPCs]

"Officially, I'm acting as escort to make sure none of ya run into any more trouble. Ta tell the truth and shame Kato, I'm here just as much to make sure your lot leaves without any detours or delays." He grins a bit. "Plus, I was needing a reason to head out for a bit. Ol'Jorim is none too pleased with my backchit during that pony show of a trial."

[Merrill]

Merrill has to fight back a smile at the last bit, looking over at Carol and the pup to hide her face.

[Carver Amell]

"Oh," whispers Carol. 

[Shisou]

"... He's real nice," offers Shisou earnestly. "And he tells great stories. Do you like adventure tales?"

[Carver Amell]

Carol freezes. "Um..." 

She glances at Merrill, then, and swallows. "I do, " she whispers. "I love them."
