The Amell Legacy: Transgressions

Carver Amell

Carol looks into the distance, something bleak crossing her face. "I... I wouldn't... Look right. I have... There's too much..."

She gestures with her hand downward, toward her torso.

Shisou

"Pass," says Shisou. "You mean you wouldn't pass. There are ways, you can... Minimize things. But you would still ... I don't know enough to make it realistic."

NPCs

"You can bind that up for the most part," Roland offers. "You've some curve, sure, but not nearly as much as the Ray. Use bandages for today, get a proper tight shirt at the Oak. Shapewear they call it- mostly used to hide a gut but it can smooth out tits just as well. Wear loose shirts over it, trousers, get some heavy boots... Could either add some curve to your years, go for the merikos elf look or you can try a fake beard or 'stache to send the look home." At Varric's curious look, the bard shrugs. "Been traveling and meeting people for almost two hundred years. Alessa has a pretty sizable pool of women with men's bodies."
We are many. We are legion. We are... NPCs!

Bethany

Beth studies her twin, her initial reaction fading as she just... watches. She's... talking. Giving opinions, asking for things and... she looks... alive. Gods. She hisses softly, suddenly, as she gnaws hard enough on her lip to draw blood.

Haliel Lightsong

"I have bandages," Lightsong offers. "I use them for... well, the same thing really."
I am the Light of My Soul.

Shisou

"Are there... Men with women's bodies?" Asks Shori, suddenly. Like me but backwards?

Carver Amell

Carol freezes, holding her breath, waiting for the 'no'. Waiting for this to be taken from her, like everything else that has ever mattered.

NPCs

"Not so much in Alessa- women have a lot more power and rights there, so anyone that feels that strongly about it moves rather than downgrade. But yeah, I know a few," Roland replies easily. "Had a... friend," he manages to say the word in such a way that makes it very clear they fucked without adding any sort of detectable sleeze to it. Clearly the man is a masterclass bard. "Oh, about two, three decades back. Strong, broad shoulders, powerful hands, rugged beard, the works- he was nearly the icon of manly ranger. Hated it, all his life. Eventually got unhappy enough that he went and saw Dau, got himself shaped into the prettiest gnome you ever saw. Still had those broad shoulders and strong hands, but..." He whistles. "She was a real looker."
We are many. We are legion. We are... NPCs!

Haliel Lightsong

Haliel looks from Roland to Carol, to Shisou to Roland. And then again. "Oh," she says very, very softly.
I am the Light of My Soul.

Bethany

Wait what? You can- people can- Beth's mouth drops open and she stares at her twin without any effort at subtlety.

Carver Amell

Carol stares at Roland, trembling slightly. "I could..." Her voice is barely audible, her mouth suddenly dry. "I could be..."

Shisou

"Car," says Shori. "Are... Are you a boy?"

Carver Amell

She shakes her head, eyes flooding. "I-- I'm damaged, that's all, I..."

Shisou

"Does it hurt when people say miss, lady, she?" asks Shori, relentlessly. "When they expect things of you, things you know you're not and won't ever be? Do you get hopeless, sometimes, thinking it's never going to change? Are you like me?"

Bethany

"I have a brother," Beth says abruptly. "Huh. I... That's pretty cool. I..." She blinks. "Huh. I wonder if that's why you always prefered me calling you Car?"
