The Amell Legacy: Transgressions

"No," whispers Carol, shaking his head. "No... I can't-- Mother said-- and Uncle--"

[Bethany]

"Aren't here," Beth says softly. "Car... getting a haircut made you so happy. No- looking more like a boy made you happier than I've seen you since.... Last year maybe? It's been getting worse and worse and... "

[Carver Amell]

"I..."

He swallows hard, shaking his head again. "I can be cured," he whispers. "Jadan made me feel like a woman. I just have to..."

[Haliel Lightsong]

"Sword fighting, big, powerful dogs, trousers... you do seem most excited and pleased by things more commonly done by males," the paladin observes. "And as your sisters demonstrate, liking someone of the same gender- male to male in your case- is an option. So it is not like that has much weight as a counter."

Still he shakes his head. "When he touched me I..."

But... He can't finish the sentence, remembering what happened after. What he'd done after the first time Jadan fondled him. How he'd felt.

[Shisou]

"Try it," says Shisou gently. "There are magic items or spells .. you can try it out before you do anything long-term."

[Bethany]

"You tried to-" Beth swallows the words. "You might have liked being... pleasured, but you hated how it was done. How... how your body needed to be..." She can't continue, memories of how her body had reacted swamping her.

[Varric]

"...I can do that actually. Brew up a potion to change that, I mean. Doesn't last long, about ten minutes or so but..." He shrugs a little.

[Carver Amell]

"Yes," says Car, before he can think twice about it. "Please. I-- please," he whispers, shaking his head. "Please. I can't... my whole life I thought... please. I want to try."

[Shisou]

Shisou lightly rests a hand on Beth's shoulder, trying to ground her in the here and now.

[Varric]

"I'll start as soon as we get into town." He glances at Roland who supplies, 'two, maybe two and a half hours.' The dwarf nods. "We'll get rooms or whatnot, and I'll get started. It'll be ready for you after dinner." Be a bit interesting actually... You need a bit of the type of being (gross) you plan to shift into... I wonder... if you locked the form as the imbiber's own type, key it to just a gender swap (swap? hmmm), would that reduce the difficulty (or extend duration)? Of course, that presupposes that each person has a... gender shifted pre-set, or it would be no different than any other shift...

Twisting around, Beth presses her face against Shisou's shoulder. 

[Shisou]

Shisou rubs Beth's back gently, trying to comfort her. I hope this helps Carol, she thinks. I hope they can still make up.

[Merrill]

Carol is a boy? And... and they aren't making fun of, umm, him? Or chasing him away for being different? Merrill's eyes dart around the group, looking for ill-intent or patient cruelty. Maybe... maybe they are... maybe this will turn out okay. None of them have... done... anything. Even at night. So... maybe... A slight smile creeps onto her face and she tentatively reaches out to slip her hand in Carol's.

"Would you like us to avoid calling you..." Lightsong hesitates, then shrugs. "What would you like us to call you?"
