Tanna

And... hook, set. Now to tug. "No, it's- those parties are... very advanced, I should never have asked you to come to one so soon. They're just- well, all of that is very, very expensive to set up so we don't have them often and..." She looks away, shrugging one smooth shoulder, exposed by virtue of her house robe slipping. "I wanted to share that part of my life. I'm sorry."

Marian Hawke

"No, no no, don't be sorry, I'm not-- I loved it, I had a great time. Honest. Just-- there were only a couple-- but on the whole, it was amazing. Thank you so much."

Marian swallows, rubbing the back of her neck.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

Tanna smiles shyly. "Really? You're sure?" she asks quietly.

Marian Hawke

"Of course. Being with you-- this week has been one of the best weeks of my life, Tanna. You're exactly what I needed."

She steps forward, reaching for Tanna's hand, eyes shining with earnesty.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

Yes. I am. "Oh Marian... I... this week has been a delight unlooked for," Tanna replies softly as she lifts their hands to her lips. "But I am sorry about pushing you too fast. You've done so wonderfully but- no, this was a mistake. This the party, not this us," she says rapidly, eyes widening.

Marian Hawke

"no, no no, it wasn't I-- did I do something wrong?" she asks, eyes clouding with tears. "I can do better!"
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

"I pushed too hard," Tanna repeats firmly, tightening her grip on Marian's hand. "But I- it's okay. You- you came back so... we can figure this out. We'll just... ease back a little, go a little slower. Next party, you'll be ready for. Promise."

Marian Hawke

"I-- I was ready. I'll prove it to you! What do you want me to do? Right now?"
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

Tanna smiles warmly, then pulls Marian into another hug, one the reveals that she's nude under that thin cotton house robe. "It's okay Marian. Did you have lunch yet? I... I might have skipped breakfast so..."

Marian Hawke

She hisses, just a little, as she's pulled close, as Tanna's hand brushes over one of the marks on her back. "Y-yeah, a little--"
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

"Oh! Marian, why didn't-" She clucks her tongue, letting go. "Go strip and I'll get some balm. We'll get you fixed up, then see about lunch. No arguing," she orders sternly.

Marian Hawke

"Yes, My Lady," she says quietly, hanging her head a little. I fucked this all up -- I should never have gone back home like I did.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

"My Lady?" Tanna asks quietly, pausing. "You liked that then?"

Marian Hawke

"I did," she whispers. "It suits you, somehow. You're so regal, and..."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

"Regal am I?" Tanna says, a hint of a smile escaping. I suppose I am the granddaughter of a God-Empress. "Well, your lady commands you to strip and be pampered. And then perhaps we can... have some light play, mmh?"
