Marian Hawke

"Promise?" she whispers. "You won't try to.. to sacrifice yourself for me anymore?"
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

"Never like that," Haliel agrees. "I swear, on my soul, on my faith, in the names of both He-That-is-Bastion and She-that-is-Astea, that I will not allow you to force me to have sex with you, by violence or coercion, even if it requires me to use force myself."
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

Marian nods, then again. A moment later, her wings open up, and she reaches for Lightsong, drawing her down into a tight embrace, the wings closing around her once she's in. "Thank you," she whispers, resting her head on Haliel's shoulder.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

With a slight giggle, Haliel wraps her arms around the fiendling. "You're very welcome. I have to say, I really like your wings. They make this even--" She breaks off, shifting rapidly to grab Marian's tail tightly. "No," she says firmly, pulling it out from under the hem of her dress, which had ridden up her leg due to her position.
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

Marian flinches, blushing. "I- I'm so sorry, it has a mind of its own," she admits.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

"I've noticed that," Haliel says, a fondly exasperated smile on her lips. "How did Zevran explain it? Hooked directly to your cunt?"
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

"Something like that," she admits. "I'm not sure how it works, but..."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

Haliel studies the tail, still held firmly in her hand, with a careful eye. "Can you control it at all?" she asks curiously. "Or is it entirely instinctual?"
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

"I don't know. Maybe eventually? Right now I don't think I can control it at all."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

"Maybe we can get you a belt, or a garter? To tie it--" She jumps as the tail jerks wildly in her hand. "Umm."
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

"It uh, it's good at getting loose," she admits.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

"Well, it's clearly attached to your brain, or at least your ears, because it's reacting like it heard me," Haliel jokes.
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

"Could you, um... let go?" she asks, quietly. "It's... really sensitive."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

Haliel does so readily, though she watches it until it wraps around Marian's waist. "Did I hurt you?"
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

"No, no, nothing like that, just... it's.... sensitive. You know."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.
