The Midnight Prince

[Shisou]

Shisou shakes his head. "N-n-no, y-y-y-you d-d-d-did g-g-g-g-g-good."

[Rokag]

"..."She sighs and lowers her hand. "...I'll have to figure something else out, but you're right about resting. But hey, maybe that last time did something?" Rokag was trying NOT to think about also being pregnant, but this wasn't about her right now.

[Shisou]

Shisou scowls. "I c-c-c-c-can s-s-s-s-s-still..."

[Rokag]

"Rest, and probably fight. Hopefully you won't have to fight for a while, but in case, I'll see if I can keep them from killing you by hitting you in the ribs."

[Shisou]

"W-w-w-w-we d-d-d-d-d-d-don't h-h-h-have t-t-t-to st-st-stop t-t-t-t-t-trying t-t-t-to g-g-g-g-get y-y-y-y-you p-p-p-preg-g-g-n-n-n-ant."

[Rokag]

"But, we're going to take tonight off so you, again, don't die on top of me from your rib killing you." She'd read some about how that could happen and it sounded...Real Bad. "Unless changing somehow will heal your ribs."

[Shisou]

"I c-c-c-c-c-c-an't g-g-g-g-g-et y-y-y-yyou p-p-p-p-p-p-p-preg-g-g-g-n-n-n-nant w-w-w-while t-t-t-t-transf-f-f-for-med."

[Rokag]

"...wait, DOES that heal you? Cuz it probably wouldn't...like, unheal you, right?"

[Shisou]

"N-n-n-n-no."

[Rokag]

Rokag shrugs. "Well, might as well try it, right?"

[Shisou]

Shisou nods, and a moment of brilliant light and sound later, The Midnight Princess huddles under her blanket. "...it still hurts," she admits, looking off to the side. 

[Rokag]

Rokag nods. "Didn't think it wouldn't...still, it's worth a shot." She blinks her eyes a couple of times before testing Shi..Soush...."Hey, is there something other than Midnight Princess I should call you when you're like that?"

[Shisou]

"Shiori," she says quietly. 

[Rokag]

Rokag smiled a little. "Alright, Shiori." She took a long breath before chuckling. "I was gonna say that this is kinda funny. Ya know, since we met this way?"

[Shisou]

She smiles, just a little. "I suppose."
