Seiya smiles, still looking a little worried and faintly ill. "Great. See? We're all friends here. We all want what's best for Shisou. No need to fight about it."

[Rokag]

"What about Shisou?" He'd looked surprised to see her at that.... whatever that was. A signing? "And who was that other lady from yesterday. An aunt or something?" But she didn't have any idea what his take on all of this was. She figured she'd be able to find him today and figure out what the fuck all this was about rather than sitting here worried she was in some kinda trap

[GamesMaster]

Seiya blinks. "Our mother?"

[Rokag]

"No, the one with that huge contract." Rokag looked slightly annoyed. "Everyone else came to see the tigers, but I hadn't seen her before."

[GamesMaster]

"The matchmaker." Seiya nods. "She agreed to record the match, since she's on retainer to find the pair of us good matches."

[Rokag]

"That was...." Rokag looked...a little confused. "That..is weird. No one even said anything." It was her understanding that matchmakers were supposed to help find people husbands and shit. "Wasn't I suppose to...talk to her or something. I thought about it, but everyone was stone silent." Well, other than Indou...

[GamesMaster]

"Yes, well, more thought is meant to go into our brother's marriage than the sale of a fishing boat," growls Tsukikage. "But here we are."

[Rokag]

Rokag...wasn't sure if she was hearing things because she sounded pissed or if she was ACTUALLY growling, but she decided that wasn't the current problem. "I also thought I was going to have a-" She cuts herself off. Shit! Was that trying to bait me into...damnit! She should be more careful than that. "I...my apologies. I...with that...attack, I was honestly surprised to wake up where I did. And to have one of the members of the Cicada family see me personally once I woke up was an honor."

[GamesMaster]

"Relax," says Seiya soothingly. "Stepfather's not here."

[Rokag]

Which is easy for YOU to say. Rokag still wasn't...well, she was sure that Tsuki probably just didn't like her. That was pretty obvious. But Seiya had been...nice. She had sounded nice, at least. So I should just trust that you won't just tell him what I... Rokag took a long sigh. "I...know that. But it was pretty obvious what I was 'supposed' to do." She paused. "Do you...not know what happened?"

Seiya shakes her head. "No. All we know is that you were chosen for Shisou."

[Rokag]

"Well, apparently I was...part of what happened at the Lantern Festival." Rokag took a large breath. "I don't...remember all of it, but now apparently a bunch of weird s- things happened and your stepfather-" stepfather? "decided that I should be betrothed to your brother." It still bothered her that she didn't remember ALL of it. But she remembered a feeling.

[GamesMaster]

"What weird--"

"You're the one that fought off the demon?!"

Seems like Tsukikage got there first.

[Rokag]

"I...well, apparently." At least she was sure the thing tried to kill her and she was drowning and then...not. Also there was a bunch of shit she remembered feeling and the she was kinda cold and then she was in that room with the doctor. Rokag was also a little surprised by Tsuki's sudden shout. "I mean...the Midnight Princess was there..." And she DID say that was something she dealt with. How the fuck she fights things like THAT, I don't know. Definitely don't want to meet whatever broker her ribs.

"The who?" asks Seiya.
