The Midnight Prince

[Rokag]

Rokag blinked in surprise. "The...Midnight Princess? Usually seen at night? Helps women? Apparently fights spirits?" Dresses real weird. "I...thought she was someone everyone had heard of."

[GamesMaster]

Seiya shakes her head. "It sounds like a storybook tale.."

[Rokag]

"So does apparently making the lake attack a demon hard enough to drive it away, but here we are." Rokag shook her head. "But I know she's real. A bunch of the others in the barracks had heard about her or had her save them from being attacked or kidnapped or something like that. Unless there were more than one person that dresses like that." She actually gave a bit of a chuckle at the idea.

[GamesMaster]

Seiya and Tsukikage exchange glances; Tsuki shrugs, and Seiya nods. "Alright, then," begins Seiya.

"So how did you end up here, marrying my brother?" demands Tsuki.

[Rokag]

"Because..." WAS there something she could...right. "Well, mostly because of this, I think." Rokag cupped her hands and closed her eyes. She tried to connect to that vast feeling. The cool sensation that she vaguely felt before she lost consciousness. Then there was the cold sensation in her hands slowly fill with cold, clear water. The water then starts to slowly churn in her hand, seeming to have it's own small current running through it.

[GamesMaster]

"Wow," whispers Seiya. "That's amazing."

"Tch. It's just a spell. Create Water, right?"

"No, but look how it's moving -- that's Undine magic, that."

[Rokag]

"Well, there's also th-" And then there was a quick, icy chill that that came from Rokag's hand and it a bit of the ceiling, which startled her bad enough to drop the mishapen hunk of ice that HAD been the water in her hand. "<D>Wingless newt!</D> Sorry, that...it's still hard to work right."

[GamesMaster]

The twins both stare at the ice for a moment, speechless.

"...Alright. So she's part undine," says Tsuki, almost begrudgingly.

"Don't you see?" whispers Seiya, urgently. "This could be it, this could be our chance! If Shisou can get her pregnant--"

"Now who's being rude?" hisses Tsuki back. 

"he could be the next Clan Head! Or, or regent or whatever. Can you imagine? Shisou, in charge of Higurashi Clan?!"

[Rokag]

"...Fucking what?" Rokag looked between the two women. "Wait, I thought this was some kinda status thing." I mean, she fought a demon and maybe Indou just really wanted to marry off his son? But....fucking pregnant?! That would fuck up a lot of possible plans of getting out of here if she needed to. There's no way they could for-

"Shit, was THAT in that long ass paper that I signed?!"

They both look at Rokag, startled. 

"...yes, the goal of an engagement is to get pregnant," says Seiya slowly. 

[Rokag]

okay....okay, breath. There's No Way they would try to start....that now. So it doesn't matter that you're not... totally sure what to do or even if you WANT to do that.

"Sorry, that just....seems a bit sudden. And I'm not sure how that would make Shisou the leader. Isn't that just..the family member that the Emperor and his ancestors recognize?"

[GamesMaster]

"Well, yes, but the ancestors show their favor by granting a child Outsider blood," says Seiya, patiently. 

"Where are you from that you don't know that?"

"As the father of a blessed child, Shisou would be given honor as well, and likely stand as regent if the Lord Higurashi passes before the child is of age. Which is likely."

[Rokag]

Rokag looked noticably embarassed. "L-look, If you knew how many different stories people keep coming up with, you wouldn't be sure what the truth was either." She took a breath...and another. "So what does Indou get out of it?" She knew it was a risk, but she REALLY wanted to know what the hell all the stakes were. "You were whispering about Shisou being in charge."

[GamesMaster]

"Well, he's our father. And he'd have arranged the match. So he'd get honor too."

"Everyone wants their kids to be the ones who save the family," adds Seiya. 

[Rokag]

And they need is for me to have a fucking kid with someone I met TWICE! Rokag knew this wasn't the best situation. It was actually pretty shit, but she needed to keep her head...and if these two WERE on Shisou's side, then she might need the help.

She hesitantly took out one of the brownies. "It's...kinda obvious I don't know what I'm doing, okay. I get that. But I'm not here to hurt Shisou. Um...actually....Can I see him? I'm not sure if there's now some rule where I can't till were actually married."
