"Claudia and Estelle both seem to share my... point of view," Zevran points out, brow furrowing. "Again, if you are able to separate the pain and harm of what was done to you, then I am glad for it. I don't want you to suffer the way I do."

Zevran shudders at her words, looking vaguely sick. "I am so sorry you had to do that," he murmurs, not for the first time, though he sounds even more guilty than previously. "I wish I had come up with a better plan."

[Zevran]

"Better than her is not a standard I can find any pride in," Zevran replies with a scoff.

She turns back to her packing, silently conceding the point

Zevran is silent for a moment as well, taking some time to collect himself. Eventually however... "What is your plan? With the packing and... whatever is next?"

"I suppose I'll make my way underground," she says slowly. "I doubt anywhere else will be kinder to me."

Zevran stares at her, absolutely stunned. "The fuck?"

"Anywhere I go, either I'm too easily found by Sia's wrath, or I'm hidden but miserable. At least underground I'll be among my kinfolk."

A pause, as if listening to something, then a blush. "Well... that could be changed!" she argues, but she knows it's silly. "Shut up. Not my fault your father was inferior stock."

[Zevran]

"Someone point out that you'd be enslaved on sight?" Zevran asks.

[Coquette Blacquin]

"I forget that this body is only a halfbreed. I'm a pureblood." She sighs. "I guess I'll head for Nyra and take my chances."

[Zevran]

"And what does everyone one else think of this decision? That you made without so much as informing, much less discussing, with myself, the two servants in your care, or your wives?" It's not hard to see that Zevran is neither impressed nor pleased at all by this answer.
