~Nyra has a very large tourism industry, so there's plenty to do and a wide array of lodgings to choose from,~ Seli comments brightly. ~The various campuses alone can be worth a visit.~

~Oh, sorry; the various arcane university campuses. Scrolls, one of the districts in Nyra, is about half filled with various institutions designed to educate people well past the basics of arcane matters. Or alchemical, planar, psionic, and a great many other fields. All the bigger universities and many of the smaller ones, have displays and demonstrations viewable by the public as outreach and advertisements. Hmm. I think the most recent one I saw was a display about the nature of light: how rainbows, mirrors, prisms and the like work.~

~And they... allow women?~ Is it just her imagination or is her voice softer, less strident, less bold and harsh?

Tethras Clan

~Of course? Oh, right Glaley. Yes, Nyra is fairly indifferent to gender; our snobbery and prejudice is more based on arcane knowledge or experience, with a side of intelligence.~

Coquette Blacquin

~Would they educate someone like me in how to use my inborn talents better, do you think?~

Tethras Clan

~Short answer, yes. Longer answer, universities are a business, so you'd have to pay their tuition. And some of them, particularly the best ones, require incoming students to pass qualifier exams. But for a single 'lesson' like learning how to use a racial ability? It probably wouldn't be all that expensive or require more than a demonstration of basic competency in the ability.~

~Interesting.~ A brief pause, then, startled, ~goodness me, we've been talking for ages!~

Tethras Clan

There's the sound of a laughter, bright and delighted. ~Why thank you! I take that as a compliment to the quality of our conversation,~ she explains. ~But don't worry overmuch on my account; your wife arranged for me to have four hours available for our sessions, just in case. Which is not to say you have to try and fill that amount of time! Just... it's available.~

Coquette Blacquin

~Was there anything you wanted me to circle back to?~

Tethras Clan

~Hmm. Well, first, I'd like to ask how you're doing after out talk? And please, hold back if you wish but please don't lie. I want to help but I can't do that with bad information.~

Coquette Blacquin

~Honestly, I'm alright. This was less uncomfortable than I expected.~

Coquette Blacquin

~I don't know. I suppose I expected you to render judgement over me in some way.~

Tethras Clan

~Ah. That's a fairly common concern for people. And I won't lie and claim that no therapist does so. Or even that I've never judged someone before. We're not supposed to do so, and I've trained very hard to stop that instinct but no mortal is perfect. If you ever feel that I've done so, then please raise your concern and we can talk it out, okay?~
