"Of course not. If I was, I would remember."

Zevran

"Would you? You are absolutely sure about that? It seems, well, it seems that your memory is not always certain," he points out.

"I do not recall what happens when I am asleep, but if we had spoken in the past few days, I would recall it. Likely while we were feverish you spoke with the others and not myself."

Zevran frowns, then shrugs. "I am fairly certain Cedric mentioned you being awake during--" He grimences. "While Varisia was torturing you and-- and so forth. But perhaps I misunderstood."

Coquette Blacquin

"You must have. I am never the one Varisia targets. I have always strove to keep her satisfied so that she does not suspect anything amiss."

Zevran

Zevran's eyebrows rise up. "You mean she was also aware of your, ah, multiple nature?"

Coquette Blacquin

"Of course not. But it was Cedric and Cindy responsible for pissing her off."

Zevran

"What does that matter, exactly? She doesn't know you exist, so it's not as if her behavior would be any different towards you. You have to suffer alongside them, more or less. Any lingering punishments or injuries affect you." He shrugs. "All for one, one for all, no?" A good sentiment, if a hard one to follow at times. And one that did not deserve to be followed by that daftness with masks and betrayal of fellowship.

Coquette Blacquin

"Lingering, perhaps, but I rarely am punished when I am in control, again, because I know how to behave in public. Were I able to form my own body and leave the system, I would. I am a pureblood, after all, and this body is barely a quarter Drow."

Zevran

Zevran stares a moment, nonplussed, then shakes his head. "That is... interesting," he says diplomatically. "In this case, however, it will not matter how well you can behave in public, not with how far she's gone this time."

"Then I suppose it is good that we have left."

Zevran

"Quite so," Zevran agrees with a soft, unhappy laugh. Those who could manage to do so at least. "Is there... is there any way to have Cedric, Cindy and yourself all... hear something at once? I..." He swallows thickly, gaze dropping yet again to the feline in his lap. "I've news all three of you should hear."

Coquette Blacquin

"I can tell the others when I return to the house."

Zevran

"I know, I was hoping to tell all three of you myself, at once," Zevran clarifies, fighting back his impatience.

"It's not precise spellcraft," she retorts. "I can try to summon up one or the other of them, but I doubt I can do both. Cedric I feel lurking, as though he's half stirred up."
