[Shiori]

"...she'll be fine," whispers shiori back. 

[NPCs]

"She's sso adorable." Emiko blushed a little as she took little glances at Shiori and Dreamy in turn. "This is nnice."

[Shiori]

"Yeah," she agrees. 

[NPCs]

"I'm glad you ddecided to attend."

[Shiori]

"The pleasure is all mine." Shiori beams at Emiko, happy to have made something like a friend. 

[NPCs]

"I..." Emiko glanced away, then back at Shiori with a shy expression. "I d-do these teas once a mmonth if, umm..."

[Shiori]

"I would be honored to be invited back."

[NPCs]

Emiko couldn't hold back the grin at Shiori's response, at how sincere it sounded. Head lowered to study the table, she mumbled a polite agreement as she worked on resettling her public face.

[Shiori]

Shiori meanwhile can barely help herself -- seeing Emiko's delight breaks out a real smile on her face as well, though she schools herself faster. 

[NPCs]

"So. Umm." Emiko floundered for a moment, only to be interrupted by Dreamy.

"Aww, they're both so adorable. We should set up some play dates for them, right?"

"A wise course of action, yes," Manu agreed serenely.

Emiko died. Figuratively, obviously.

[Shiori]

Shiori's smile becomes brittle as she coughs lightly. 

[NPCs]

"Oh dear, I think we embarrassed then," Manu commented without shame. 

Dreamy tilted her head to the side. "You think? Huh."

[Shiori]

"You both realize I'm a grown woman, married and soon to be a mother, yes?"

[NPCs]

"Oh, congratulations on spawning," Manu said brightly.

[Shiori]

"Thank you. It is my sacred duty."
