[NPCs]

"One of Her's will be sent to instruct you in the proper procedures," the lord said, voice almost... pitying? That's not a good sign. "I would suggest you prepare yourself for such a meeting as best as you can. As best as one not a Tiger born can, at least."

[Shiori]

"Yes, sir. Is there anything in particular?"

[NPCs]

"How to survive a lesson from one of Her Own intact, to start," was the chilling reply. 

[Shiori]

"Yes sir," she whispers. "Should I... purge myself?" One thing Shiori knows is how to take a beating -- and it can be easier if there's nothing in your stomach to throw up if the pain gets too bad.

[NPCs]

"You will need to research this yourself," he insisted, tone suggesting that doing so is lesson and part of the punishment both.

[Shiori]

"Yes, sir. My deepest apologies, sir." She bows again. "Is that all you need of me, sir?"

[NPCs]

He didn't even bother to say anything, just grunted and turned his attention to some paperwork on his desk.

[Shiori]

Shiori backs out of the room, not turning her back to him; once she gets out to where Jass is waiting, she walks past him with just a slight trembling in her hands to show how much she wants to throw herself in his arms. His servants are probably watching. 

When they get back, and Jass comes with her to her bedroom, she does embrace him tightly, shivering in his arms.

[Jassinth]

Jass didn't bother trying to get anything out of her for the first twenty minutes or so, just holding and rocking and petting. Once she'd stopped shaking, and her tears were mostly dry, he finally asked, "tell me about it?"

[Shiori]

She shakes her head. "We can't have sex anymore," she mutters into his shirt.

[Jassinth]

"Umm." Jass visibly attempted to process that rather random, to him, response before failing. "What?"

[Shiori]

"They want me to go under truthing, to swear I'm being faithful. We can't have sex again. I told them I'd been fucking Miyamoto, he's a little toad, we won't miss him, but I can't risk you anymore." She takes a deep breath, taking half a step back. "They're going to... to punish me. For straying."

[Jassinth]

"That's-- that's all--" Jass took in a deep breath through his nose, then exhaled even slower through his mouth. "I see. I hate, but I see. When is... when is this all happening?"

[Shiori]

"I'm not sure. I think in a week ,or perhaps sooner. He said... he said I need to research how to.... how to endure a punishment by one of Her Own."

[Jassinth]

Jass's breath hitched, then came out in a hiss. "Damn them all," he swore. "Every thrice cursed Tiger, damn them to dust and forgotten graves."
