"No one ever is.... he's a good man kor, complicated, but good. He's trying to make amends and that's honorable "

"You're right, I just... I expected more of a.... a father? And he's more of a... war hero in retirement."

"I think his going back is a fatherly act. He wants you to be safe and to do that he's putting himself at risk...."

"He's... I guess I pictured someone... warmer. More, I don't know. Paternal. Friendly. Inquisitive about my life, other than as a talking point. Dad jokes. I don't know."
