"Oh..." I say then I grin "well now I have to go. Someone has to defend your honor" I tease offering him the box

he takes the box. "I'll be fine. I have my father's sword with me."

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

In side is a wet stone and a set of quordanares. "I tracked your  dad down he's on our rout we'll be there in about two weeks. And I know you can take care of yourself but I'm still coming with."

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

Kor stares down at the box, then up at Rocket. "I... what?"

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

"You're dad I found him. We'll be at his settlement in two weeks I know that's a lot to take in but why don't we just have fun today ok?"

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

"I... does he know we're coming?" he asks, thumping back to lean against the wall of the hallway. 

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

"Not yet I figured I'd leave that up to you to decide how much notice to give"

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

"I... I need... why did you tell me this now? I need to go, and I need time to think about this, and... are you trying to ruin my date with Elaina?!"

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

"What?! Date?! No I'm not I just wanted you to know I found him and admittedly my timing is bad because I forget not everyone has a blood stream full of nanobots that help with emotional regulation and force you to be clam all the time. Look if you don't want me along that's fine but don't date my sister to spite me ok?"

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

"I mean -- it's not like that, it's just a fun outing, I just-- I need space, okay?"

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

"Ok can I see you tomorrow for dinner?" I ask gently

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

"I-- I don't know-- let me text you," he stammers, turning and bolting down the hall. He only gets a few steps before he darts back, tossing the box into his room and shutting the door and locking it.

Why do I fuck everything up with this kid? I wonder heading to the docking bay I'll make my appearance at the festival and publicly wish Eliana well and leave. That's it! And maybe I'll stop fucking everything up

"I smile as I lead the puppy through the festival showing him the forges and letting him yammer with the smiths finally we reach the tournament. "May I ask a question young man?"
