Rocket’s ship

"Shouldn't he be? If he's my father?"

"Not everyone who's a parent is good at it in the ways we want them to be. Give him time"

"But... he's going back to Edo..."

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

"You can still write him and call him."

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

"Pretty sure his comms will be monitored by the Federation... I dont' want to lead them to us."

"Fair point." I grin

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

"I guess... it's probably good that I came to find him and tell him what's going on, but I wish I coul dreally get to know him."

I reach our and give his hand a squeeze "I know hon

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

"...he didn't even notice I'm dressed like a boy."

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

I smile gently "we should go make sure reaper doesn't hurt the goats in his exitment." I say gently

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

"Oh, yeah, good thought. Maybe I should distract him with a spar."

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

"Good idea." I laugh

The pair head out, with Kor snagging Reaper into a spar with sticks from the forest to show off. Slowly, as he works, Yasha gets more and more distracted; eventually he's just leaning on the fence, watching his daughter fight. 

"You lead a bit with your left foot," he says, as she pauses between rounds. 

"Pardon?"

"Your left foot. It's a tell. You don't want to have any of those."

"Oh. Yeah. Sorry." 

Yasha smiles, watching them fondly. "You're very good, you know. You could compete, I bet."

"Yasha can I talk with you a minute?" I ask leading him away

"Sure," he says, trotting after Rocket, though he does take a glance back to see that Kor is fixing his footwork with some practice lunges.
