Tobys cabin

[Jamie D'vart]

There's the slightest, almost imperceptible shift. Then a too-warm hand slips into his, and he feels... peace. Contentment. Hope. 

[Toby]

"Jamie?!" I can feel,him pull on my magic. A good singe. "Baby are you there wake up baby!"

[Jamie D'vart]

A long silence where there's nothing. Finally, with a small groan, Jamie's eyes flicker open, bleary and unfocused. "Nn."

[Toby]

"Hey, hey it's ok you're ok your safe. You're in the pack house in my study. Here," I press a glass of water to his lips "drink this."

[Jamie D'vart]

Jamie tries, but he coughs, nearly choking on it. A little more effort and he manages to swallow a few sips before he closes his mouth and turns away. 

[Toby]

"Good boy." I murmur stroking his face softly "it's ok you're safe now."

[Jamie D'vart]

"Want... dad," he croaks. 

[Toby]

I nod. "I called him he's on his way should be here soon." I say softly

[Jamie D'vart]

"So.. hungry," he groans. "can't... hold back."

[Toby]

"Have a snack" I offer my hand to him

[Jamie D'vart]

"You'll die," he whispers. 

[Toby]

"Then let me bring you something to hunt." I say standing

[Jamie D'vart]

Jamie gives a small nod, eyes closing as his muscles relax against the bed. 

[Toby]

I come back shortly with a stunned dear for him. Laying it next to the bed. "Eat. There's more if you need it. The meat won't be wasted."

[Jamie D'vart]

Jamie reaches out, faster than Toby would have thought possible, and grabs the deer, making physical contact with one of the legs. The deer struggles, but Jamie hangs on, and within a few moments, the deer collapses, eyes wide, breathing, but unmoving.

Jamie lets go.
