[Toby]

"Oh, I'm sorry, I.... I don't want to hurt you unless you want me to....I can try and be gentle I'm used to more experienced holes, I'm not used to partners." I rub the back of my neck "I'll work on it for you though."

[Jamie D'vart]

"I'm probably also smaller than most people you've... you know." He pauses. "Are we going steady?"

[Toby]

I laugh at the question "we're married Jamie, how much stediyar do you want to go?"

[Jamie D'vart]

He reddens. "Wait, what? I thought we were, um, mates or whatever?"

[Toby]

"Right like you said wolf married or I guess since I haven't claimed you officially in front of the pack as my mate were technically engaged. "

[Jamie D'vart]

"Oh. So we're, um, monogamous?"

[Toby]

"We can be, but we don't have to be."

[Jamie D'vart]

"Okay but are we? You're the one who knows how this all works."

[Toby]

"Well mala and I are married..... Jamie did I ever really explain this to you in a way you understand?"

[Jamie D'vart]

"Um. Not really. You keep trying but I don't... I'm sorry, it's just all so much so fast."

[Toby]

"Ok so let me see if I can do this a little bit better. For all intense and pprpuses there are three types of wolfs. Alphas, bates, and omagas. Alphas lead the pack. We protect and guid those we call family. Betas do most of the grunt work. They clean, cook, build, farm, and bring in most of the packs income and supplies. Omagas are teachers, healers, bearers, and careers mostly. They banged us teach our young, and raise the next generations.

Long ago magic decided that just letting the power go to an alphas head was a bad idea. You don't want one strong alpha running around and kidnapping omagas. So magic made a pact. An omaga will call to their alpha through scent, and omagas scent can cause an alpha to go mad, to be hyper aggressive until the omaga is claimed. An alpha under the haze of an unclaimed omaga will take themselves apart. An omaga unclaimed by their alpha will become suicidal.

However an alpha cannot harm their mate without consent. If I were to attempt to harm you my magic would rebel agents me and prevent it. It would kill me on the spot if need be.

The reason I called you my fiancé is because you submitted to me. You're omega nature came through and submitted to my alpha nature. When you did that you claimed me as your mate, and sealed the connection. I only forged it with my bite. The bite keeps us safe until the omaga submits. Which they never have to do, and some never do.

As for me and Mala, she's my beta my Geri my second in command. I care for her and she cares for me but she' doesn't experience romantic attraction. We're good friends and legally we are married but we don't have sex. Though she does sleep in my bed from time to time... it's nice to have someone to hold...

Anyway I can't garuntee that no one else will ever call to me as you have. But just because I bite someone doesn't mean I have to give them the chance to submit to me. So it's really up to you. If you want to have me all to yourself then I won't give them the chance but if you want to see other people either as individuals or as a cupple then that's fine too. "

"Okay.... so that makes sense, except, what about when we first got to the cabin and you, um, scared me?"

[Toby]

"Fear isn't the same as harm. Not really. If it had been seen as harm to your magic I would have been punished for it"

[Jamie D'vart]

"...it hurt," he admits. "But I guess, it didn't last a long time?" 

[Toby]

"Wait, are you talking about our first time? Magic allows for mistakes, like not prepping you enough, but not intentional harm."
