The Prince and the Priestess

[Raja kumarie]

I recoil as if slapped. I stare at him a moment before standing and pushing past him to head out the door

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"Fine!" he shouts after her, wounded. "Stuck-up harlot," he mutters, but he doesn't lower his voice enough. 

[Raja kumarie]

I spin round and before I know what's happening my fist meets his nose with a sickening crunch. "My mother warned me of pale men like you! She said you were all monsters! Clearly she was right!" I spit

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"Oh yes," he says, bitterly, reeling back and covering his nose. "I took you in, I fed you, I introduced you to my family, and you hit me!"

[Raja kumarie]

"You care nothing for my grief! You send me away to shame me before all of my people! You send me to a life of disgrace and exile then call me a whore!"

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"What are you talking about! My mother lives this way! Are you saying my mother has no honor?!"

[Raja kumarie]

"You wish to send me back to Mumbai! My father can no longer claim me! You bought me! To send me away is to give me the life of an untouchable! No family, no birth family, no support! To send me back to India is to kill me. No one will buy from me no one will sell to me I cannot go back to the temple either. It is better to kill me than send me back to starve. How can you hate me so much?" I swipe angrily at the tires

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"I do not wish to send you back, I wish for you to stop dishonoring my family and insulting me!"

[Raja kumarie]

"How have I dishonored you?"

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"You are insulting my mother!"

[Raja kumarie]

"How?!"

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"You called her a prisoner, you said my father and I are cruel to her!"

[Raja kumarie]

"She can't come and go as she wished that seams cruel to me!"

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"If you really feel it is such a cruel hardship to be with me, then why are you here?!"

[Raja kumarie]

"Because my father soldme!" I shout before breaking down again. Crumpling to the floor
