I nod gently "family can be difficult. Look why don't we start by getting her her own room and then we can start finding where she fits here. Besides Al you have a kid to worry about. Let me handle her like any other new comer. You just rest up."

[Aldrea Borealis Dragontamer]

She hesitates, uncertain. "I appreciate that, but... you have to understand, she's been through a lot of trauma. I was mostly healed by the time I came here, but it's gotta be still raw for her. I'm not sure she should be alone just yet, you know? She needs someone to lean on. Someone to..."

Here Al stops as the door opens...

[Elizabeth "Liz" Borealis]

A stranger walks in the door, or so it seems for a few moments before the face registers. Liz has cut her hair very close to the head, in a classic butch lesbian cut, and she's wearing a leather jacket, tight black jeans, and a tank-top with a lipstick mark as the design. She's got a collar around her neck with spikes and a little heart on it, tight like a choker, though thankfully there's no lock on the back, just a clasp. She's wearing black lipstick, green eye shadow, and contouring to make her face seem sharper, more severe. "Yo."

"Old man alive!" I say this is not the girl I met a few days ago

Al jumps to her feet. "Elizabeth Demeter Borealis, what in the actual fuck are you wearing?!"

[Elizabeth "Liz" Borealis]

She blushes, just a little. "Liz, actually. I want to try going by Liz. Viper started calling me it and I kinda like it."

[Kitty]

"Alright so Liz, I was just talking to your sister and I think it's time you start find your footing here. There's an apartment three doors down it's yours ifin you want it, and a job too, though there's no need to rush to work but it might give you something to do." I say smoothly old man this girl needs help before she winds up as somebody's property

[Elizabeth "Liz" Borealis]

"What's the job?"

[Kitty]

"That depends on you. There's lots of jobs to be done. Cooking, cleaning, entertainment, security all the bit things that make this place what it is. Personally I was thinking you could be my assistant. Help me keep this place running. It would give you a broad set of skills that you could transfer to somewhere else ifin you want to."

[Elizabeth "Liz" Borealis]

"...what about being a dancer? I've always loved dance. I'd have to learn, of cou--"

[Aldrea Borealis Dragontamer]

"Absolutely NOT!" roars Al. "Just because you're buddy-buddy with Viper doesn't mean you should do everything she does!"

[Elizabeth "Liz" Borealis]

"Since when is it your decision what I  do with my life?"

[Kitty]

"Alright now that's enough. Aldrea take a breath, Liz if you want to learn those skills that's fine but every dancer has to pass a rigorous physical and audition process. Now the next audition isn't for six months so so why don't you work with me till then and if you get through the audition then you can dance"

[Elizabeth "Liz" Borealis]

"I'll pass the physical," she boasts. "It's just the dancing I have to learn. That sounds like a good plan."

[Aldrea Borealis Dragontamer]

Al rolls her eyes. "Great. Well, I'll be here when you decide you need me after all."
