"Oh, I see." She pauses. "May I ask a somewhat impertinent question?" At the 'by all means' she receives, she asks, "Is it true that black humans on your planet have... extremely large... you know?"

"Oh boy, well, um, some do some don't but as a whole the human species is on average 6 to 8 inches long regardless of skin tone. And assuming that someone's genitalia is bigger or shorter based on race is wrong. It's not your fault for not knowing and given your select information on the subject is understandable but in the future just assume that everyone is unique and not a cultural monolith

"I see. That fits with what I know," she admits. "It can be difficult to sort through the many varied opinions in my head now."

[Kitty]

"I'm sure it can be. Let me know if you need any help with that. Al tells me you like weaving. I've got an extra loom you can borrow in the other room. Come by any time to borrow it." I take a swig from a clay mug and a light flashes over one of the doorways in the back."

"I'm not sure I'll take you up on that. I think... I'm on a new path now."

"Well that's fine, but just don't shut the door on the old just because there's something new."

[Elizabeth "Liz" Borealis]

"Sure, sure." She smiles, sipping her tea. 

[Kitty]

I nod standing up. "Come on the dancers should be in now. Time to do our second check. I'm sure that some of them are bringing there stashes back in."

[Elizabeth "Liz" Borealis]

Liz blinks. "You think?"

[Kitty]

"I know, look this is a job that pays well and attracts those who often don't have other options that pay as well. Not all dancers are addicts but everyone needs something to get through work, for some it's coffee others it's Suggar, some use Cochin or meth. Anyone who has drugs gets seen in-house by a counselor and social worker. Drugs don't make you bad they just mean you need help to come back to community"

[Elizabeth "Liz" Borealis]

"Maybe if you were harsher on them, they'd stop using?"

[Kitty]

"Shoutings never gotten anyone sober. What does get people sober is making sure their needs are met."

[Elizabeth "Liz" Borealis]

"But you said it's impossible to do this job without stimulants. So the only way to make them stop is to make the job easier."

[Kitty]

"No I said most people need something to get them through the day. The job it's self is easy it's folks that are hard."

"I've never needed anything like that."
