Fables Fantasy: casino, night club, lounge, and sweets

I sit on the floor two cups of tea ready. One for me and one with a love potion deactivation infusion for all waiting till she walks in

Al wanders in twenty minutes late, a fresh bandaid on her neck, wearing a low-cut blouse (with a fresh hickie showing) and tight jeans. "Hey," she says, as she drops into the spot opposite Kitty. "No coffee?" she quips, an old joke -- she serves Kitty coffee when she hosts and she drinks Kitty's green tea when she's over. She takes a sip now, making a slight face. "I think it's gone a little off," she says, putting it back down. 

[Kitty]

"It wouldn't be bitter if you were on time" i snark taking a sip of my own drink "Al what's going on with you?"

[Aldrea Borealis Dragontamer]

"I told you. I'm letting an old flame wine and dine me and listening to his proposal about Kit. I talked to him at length today about making sure she's not isolated among her own kidn, and guess what? He's got a buddy with a menagerie that has actual dragons! Little ones, not big like she'll be, but she's pretty small at the moment too. She could be around her own people and other kids her developmental age!"

[Kitty]

"You wanna put her in a zoo?!"

[Aldrea Borealis Dragontamer]

Al rolls her eyes. "It's not a zoo. It's a private holding, fifteen acres of woodland, where she can come visit with her people."

[Kitty]

"So you're taking her to a plantation."

[Aldrea Borealis Dragontamer]

"Oh my God, kitty, will you stop? She's going to live with me. I just want her to be able to socialize with her own kind. Someday she's going to want to go home and it's good if she's spoken to her kind while she's been away."

[Kitty]

"Why do you want to leave"

[Aldrea Borealis Dragontamer]

"This kind of opportunity is once in a lifetime. I thought I'd missed my chance. But I got a second chance at it."

[Kitty]

"Drink your tea"

[Aldrea Borealis Dragontamer]

Aldrea rolls her eyes, but gulps down a few long sips of tea. 

[Kitty]

"Are you sure this is what you want?"

[Aldrea Borealis Dragontamer]

"Yes, Kitty. I'm sure. I wouldn't be doing this, uprooting Kit's life and my own, unless I was sure it was what's best for her."
