[Wylde]

Wylde flinches back, chagrined. "I'm sorry. do I stink? I can go shower..."

[Tova koshack]

"It's not that.... I'm...unclean"

[Wylde]

"Do... you need a shower? We could shower together?"

[Tova koshack]

"No. It's not that it's...... um....you know....." I flush

[Wylde]

"Know what? What do I know?" she asks, head tilting to the side. 

[Tova koshack]

"You know......it's......high tide at the Red Sea?"

[Wylde]

"You... want to go to the beach?"

[Tova koshack]

"I'm on my period!" I blurt out

[Wylde]

Wylde's eyes widen. "Oh! Oh shit. Do you need, um. Supplies?"

[Tova koshack]

"No im fine you just cant touch me unless youre also on your period because im unclean"

[Wylde]

"Well that's..." stupid "bad. How long do yours last?"

[Tova koshack]

" eight days normally"

[Wylde]

"Eight days?!" whimpers Wylde.  "That's way too long!"

[Tova koshack]

"Well is a seven day cycle plus one day of cleaning. But dont worry ive got my space all set up and ive been freezing leftovers so I won't have to cook for us since i dont want the food to gwt continated" i smile "and its a small apartment so youll still see me and we can still talk. We just cant touch or eat together or sleep together"

[Wylde]

But she shakes her head. "You don't understand. Touch is vital for my kind. We habitually touch each other all the time. I was going stir-crazy before you came along, and being near you without touching is..."
