Movement of the Wilds

[Kira]

 I nod as we pull into the parking lot of my old building. "Ok I wasn't sure what your skills are so I didn't factor them in. Once you get a job all add it to the budget and update the plan."

[Wylde]

"Excellent." Wylde parks the car, hopping out and darting around to open Kira's door for her. 

[Kira]

"Thanks" I smile before leading her into my building and to my apartment. It's neat and tidy. "We're keeping the bed, the card table the dishes, cookwear, and the love seat everything else will be collected in an hour by the resale team." I say clinically trying to to feel the loss of my... everything....I've lost everything. My family, my job, my home, my community, my things... all gone in an instant. Still time to get moving.

[Wylde]

"I don't know if that mattress is going to fit in my car," says Wylde, eyeing it. "Maybe we should sell the car and rent a moving van?"

[Kira]

 "Won't you need a car for work though?"

[Wylde]

"I can run real fast," she admits. 

[Kira]

"Yah but is that applicable to getting to work and being prepared fir the day? And then be ok to run home? And what about groceries?"

[Wylde]

"I'll.... buy a backpack?"

[Kira]

"You're being unreasonable we need the car to get to work, to the store, to move, a backpack and a bike won't help with that. Besides I'm not sitting on your handlebars to get a ride to work."

[Wylde]

"I could do... piggyback?" Wylde flashes her big, sappy eyes at her... at Kira, then sighs. "Alright. I just want to be helpful."

[Kira]

"You are being helpful by driving and helping ,e move "

[Wylde]

She lights up at that, and Kira can almost see her little doggy tail wag. "Alright. Then I'm gonna be the best driver you ever saw."

[Kira]

I smile boxing up the kitchen "right now you can help with these boxes."

[Wylde]

"Sure thing, boss!" she chirps, and happily gets to work lifting, carrying, loading things.

Packing takes most of the day it's fairly simple all things considered. The place is just about cleared when the phone rings...
