Andreas Amell

"No!" Andreas shakes his head, still looking stunned. "I-- Mother asked Miki to talk to me shortly after--" The merikos catfolk flushes a little. "Ah, just after I turned fourteen. I... I had wondered for a while if he was..."
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

Adonis closes his eyes a moment, his step faltering. "I see. I would have-- well, it is done, now."

Andreas Amell

"I suppose this explains why she couldn't stop laughing for almost two minutes when I finally asked," Dreas realizes, more talking to himself than Adonis.
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

Adonis lets out a low, soft chuckle. "I suppose she would. Still. If you... need assistance... during your next cycle, send word. I have an outreach that helps with that sort of thing."

Andreas Amell

Turning red again, Dreas stammers a few word-sounds before turning around abruptly. "Painting!" he finally blurts out, hand flinging out to point at, well, a painting. Of a tree. It's a nice tree?
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

Adonis glances at it, then back at his son. "Yes?"

Andreas Amell

"Yes," Andreas agrees, nodding. Oh merciful Alydrea. please take the memory of the last minute from us both, thank you. "Right. Ummm. We were... leaving, yes. To the door. The front one."
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

Adonis sighs, moving forward again toward the door. "Yes. Please take care of yourself and your mother, Andreas."

Andreas Amell

"Why didn't you stay? With her, I mean. I-- you explained why you abandoned me," and there's a well of hurt there that Dreas hadn't realized he'd had buried, "even if it's a stupid ans-- sorry. Whatever. But why leave her too?"
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

"She never told you?" he says, sounding a little taken aback. "It was your mother's decision that we split. I wasn't what she needed when your siblings were... when all that happened."

Andreas Amell

Siblings? Plural? Oh. He must have children with others. Probably catfolk. I suppose it's not entirely unlike Uncle Carver's lifestyle... Sorta. "Oh. I... She's never spoken about... any of that really. Grandpa Varric explained most of what I know but... It never seemed right to push her?"
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

Adonis nods. "We don't have time right now, but if you wish, I will tell you what happened. You may visit me anytime. I live alone in Catgrass Manor."

Andreas Amell

"Cat... grass?" Dreas repeats curiously.
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

"Miki named it for me when I could not think of a suitable name," he chuckles. "It's all new development, after all."

Andreas Amell

"So he named it after a mild narcotic?" Dreas asks, mystified by the thought process. Isn't that like Grandpa calling his office Dwarfwhiskey?

...

Okay, on second thought, he might actually do that if Grandne didn't stop him.
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?
