"True," agrees Adonis. "If you sell your artwork, you can tithe some portion of the sale price. Obviously, keep for yourself what you need to survive and be comfortable, but then donate the rest."

Andreas Amell

Andreas nods slowly, then asks in an uncertain voice, "do... do you have anyone that sells art pieces? Not like a gallery, just like in a shop?"

"Tabby?" Cadmus half states, half asks with a glance at Don, as he's uncertain if the catfolk in question is still doing so. Catfolk business, especially the ones catering to outsiders, are far too often fragile things.
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

Don shakes his head. "She was only doing pottery, and now she's moved on to selling unguents and makeups."

NPCs

"Marky?" A beat. "Tan," he clarifies to specify the Marky that sells random things in a Bazaar stall and not the the one that's learning smithing.
We are many. We are legion. We are... NPCs!

GamesMaster

"Perhaps, but you really need an expert to sell artwork at a good price. I might know someone who knows someone," he decides. "But they won't be catfolk. Still. Whoever did the finding for zi'Smith, they will know how to sell any pieces."

Andreas Amell

"Ah, no, that's--" Andreas coughs a little. "If I wanted to sell at a gallery, that would be easily arranged really." I think Grandpa owns three or four of them outright... "I was looking more to sell, umm, my acceptable but not exemplary works, ah, locally?"
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

"Then, yes, Markiel at the Bazaar, third stall from the Temple Street entrance on 43rd. But he won't get you a fair price, I think. Just a discount rate. Nobody comes to him who can pay full price."

Andreas Amell

"Can't always win gold," Andreas replies with a shrug. "I have entire storage rooms filled with artwork that I wouldn't mind... too much.. parting with. Even if he-- he?-- only sells each piece for a couple of silvers on average... It's something, right?"
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

More like a few coppers, but... "Well, if you wish," Don says, with a nod. "It would show your duty to your lineage, at the least. And.. I'd be proud of you. As a Light, of course."

NPCs

Snorting, Cadmus bats at his son's arm. "Study," he reminds him pointedly.
We are many. We are legion. We are... NPCs!

GamesMaster

Don grimaces. "I am not and cannot be his father. Not like you were to me."

NPCs

That gets a proper whack and a glare. "Gentleness," Cadmus hisses at his fool child, just in case the abrupt paling of the merikos catfolk's face wasn't hint enough.
We are many. We are legion. We are... NPCs!

GamesMaster

Don bows his head, paws trembling slightly. "Forgive me. I am ... I am not young myself, nor am I without my own scars."

Andreas Amell

Andreas is silent a moment, head bowed slightly so his gaze rests naturally on the ground. "What are your current projects?" he asks abruptly, not even a hint of grace in the change of subject.
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

Don, heart aching, allows the subject change, prattling on for a little while about his new big idea: buying a communally-owned factory to make dyes in bulk to sell at various shops and outlets instead of having various cats individually make the dyes on their own. It would employ lots of people, and provide much more stock than any individual can make in their shop.
