"Well Sweetwater doesn't do magical experiments on foster kids so there's that."

Andreas comes to a dead stop, staring at Charon. "What."

Charon looks over his shoulder, tail twitching. "What? I hear that's what happens in Nyran orphanages."

"No. Absolutely not," Andreas says instantly, head shaking rapidly. "Muse of Creation, no. Ciren would-- fae's church would launch a crusade that would make Vangal cower."

"Only if faer church is real," says Charon, keeping up with the pronoun effortlessly. "It could be Kato."

[Andreas Amell]

"Could be... do you mean that Ciren is actually Kato? Or that Faer church in Nyra is actually a Liar's Den?"

"...I'll avoid the fiery wrath and say the latter, thanks," Charon says, peering up at the sky.

"Wise choice," Andreas agrees sagely. "My aunt is a Joyous actually and, uh, well honestly, if I had to pick between having her and my other aunt, a Vangalite paladin, be furious with me? Yeah, Aunti Seli is definitely scarier."

"See? Evil."

"Not everything that's scary is evil," Andreas puts out. "And not all evil is scary."

"... if you say so," he says, voice a little flat.

"...did I offend you?"

"No. I'm just exhausted," he admits. And you probably are judging me for being a necromancer.
