Morden looked around a little. "Right...so...what's the chances this immediately tries to kill one of us?" After the last few traps, they were NOT about to get caught unaware. "Anyone else see anything?"

A moment later, she then adds, "B-But it should be fine! E-Even if it isn't, I can heal you..."

Kenji looks between Kimiko and Morden before sighing, "So... the darn bomb thingy.... and moving it is not something we can do without you using your powers Cordy? Hmm... this might be a situation you can help indeed Kimiko, given Cordy's powers cause them pain and... hmmm. Also, I mean... if you think it would help I could always make a bubble of slow time for you to move it into? Just in case there's an issue of a trap mechanism that needs to be disarmed fast?"

There's hope. There's always hope. Where there's a will, there's a way? It all seemed a bit corny, but he felt confident they could work with this. They had diverse enough tools to approach the problem with after all.

Morden frowned as that thought really sunk in. That WOULD be the sort of thing that Shinigami would do, given the other traps. She knew they hated touching electronics like this, and that they specifically had to carry it meant there was a good chance of some sort of problem. And maybe they'd be able to make a run for the 'goal' while the thing was slowed down. Morden HATED field-work, but they weren't going to get out of things like this without doing SOME of what Shinigami wanted.

"Might not be a bad idea, in case this thing tries to burn my hands off or something." There was a sharp point of sarcasm to this before he hit the com. "I think we have confirmation on the target. How much time do we have left?"

"Twelve minutes," come the prompt answer from Zero. That's not good -- less than half the time remaining to get back to where they started, this time with the "bomb".

Kenji sighs before commenting "Only twelve eh... Okay,  setting up, hope you're ready Morden..." Kenji felt tingles of apprehension as closed his eyes briefly, breathing deeply, only to open up his eyes a moment later, with his hands tensing, open palm gesturing to a spot beside this 'bomb'. A bubble quickly pops into existence right next to the device, not in contact with it, but ready for the bomb to be moved into it if necessary. Hopefully... sheer stresses at the boundary don't trigger anything, Kenji finds himself thinking.

"It's Ophiocordyceps." There was a slight annoyed tone in their voice.  Why did they have to come up with aliases if they weren't going to use them! With a deep breath, they reached forward and grab the 'bomb', the hope that Kimiko wasn't exaggerating at her abilities...or that this wasn't about to be a huge trap.

Silently, to himself, Zero thinks, 'You know nobody can pronounce that, Cordy, give the kid a break.' He smiles, faintly, his fingers waiting, ready, above the control panel, for the next simulated attack on his encryption algorithm, keeping their communication safe.

Kimiko blinks a few times, nothing apparently having happened aside from Morden grabbing the thing. "O...kay? What now...?" She still has her hand on Morden, just in case. She hopes she isn't being annoying by holding on for so long. She isn't used to this amount of bodily contact, and after thinking about it, blushes nervously-- not that anyone can see her.

Kenji nods, watching and waiting carefully as he maintains the bubble next to the 'bomb'. Aliases indeed... He always felt weird about them himself but eh... they have their uses, he shouldn't have goofed like that...

Morden kept still for a few moments, waiting for the 'package' to start beeping or some other sort of situation....but it didn't seem to. "...Right.." They moved the device away from where it was resting. "So...if we have this, it's time to leave, right?" It also wasn't hurting. That was an overall plus, whether it was from Kimiko or because Shinigami wasn't trying for that sort of trap.
