...Crystal? Did you see where that little boy went when he said he found the way home?

~Um...well, kinda. Do you think I should try and point it out now?~

[yamikuronue]

Yeah, that's a good plan.

[CalamityJade]

~Alright, but you're gonna have to let me out of this thing.~ Right, she'd been putting him in the small bag she had so he wouldn't light up and draw attention...not that he really knew a way of not doing that and talking.

The presense seemed really interested in her now. "What's your name?"

"....they call me T." she says, reluctantly, reaching into the bag to pull out the crystal.

[CalamityJade]

"You're funny." The crystal floats out of the bag once she opens it, glowing with a pale blue light. ~Right...Um...alright, I think this was it.~ As the glow intensified, there was a slight silhouette hanging in the air. The girl couldn't be more than twelve with short-ish hair and wearing a medical gown. "Oh, you have one of those, too! Miss Mordi had one when she got rid of the monster!"

"Yeah, she had this one. That's what I came to talk to her about. You know anything about it?"

[CalamityJade]

"Um....she said...that they were special crystals that help make the city better, and that you had to be a good person to use them." She nodded, which let her see a particularly nasty wound across her throat. "Oh...and that if I met someone with one they'd help me get home. You had a bright thing in your bag, so I thought maybe you were taking Miss Mordi back home."

T scoffs. "A good person, huh? She missed the mark there. How did she mean, make the city better?"

[CalamityJade]

"People make the city better and the monsters make it worse. So she fights the monsters and helps the people go home and then the city's better."

[yamikuronue]

"Ah. I thought that might be it." She sighs. "You know you're dead, right?"

[CalamityJade]

"...oh...um..." The light intensifies and this time she can see some haze around Elizabeth flow into the crystal, which actually makes the scar disappear. "Yeah...but Momma told me that I was only allowed to go home and I didn't wanna leave and I think she went there too. That's what Miss Mordi said." She looks upwards and acts as if she can hear something. "Oohh, Thats where it is. Thank you, Miss Tee." She gave T a very quick hug before floating upwards, which felt very odd. Kinda like a warm pressure but not enough substance to actually be a person touching her.

T smiles, despite herself. "So the scar, then? That's what was holding her back? Or not knowing she was dead?"

~I think the...there was something in the light. Something that made her remain. I don't know what the scar was.~

"That was there by the time I met her. It was likely part of her rather difficult path." If T looked back, she'd realize that Mordrianna had apparently woken up somewhere between the hug and the girl disappearing. She was just now shifting back so she could sit up in the hospital bed. "Good day, young one. I can see that you have had a very eventful journey here."

T narrows her eyes, tightening her grip on her knife. "You! You have a lot of explaining to do."
